Named Loot and Over/Power Leveling

Hi, I looked around on Wiki and couldn't find an answer. Is there any negative effect to rolling named loot in chests when over or power leveling Epic and Legendary quests? For example, running a level 25 quest on elite at level 32 char? Thanks

Loot chances aren't effected by your level; just the quest difficulty chosen. People often farm out heroic loot they might want for their next life before a TR too.

If you run reaper the item could be reaper boosted which in the long run is more important than just getting the item (unless a rare one or raid piece).

In this way running within reaper range, even r1, is very good to do for farming gear. Just do the higest reaper you can handle for the first time.

My tinfoil hat anecdotal experience is that gear drops more and better if you are below level. I have no proof for this, hence my irrational compulsion—perhaps a logical wish for rewards based on effort.

In terms of raw power a Mythic 3 item is generally better than a Reaper bonus and is on par with a Mythic 1 item with a Reaper bonus. Now you can get both the max Mythic bonus and a Reaper bonus, but those items are exceedingly rare...it's almost easier to farm for max Mythic and then apply the Reaper bonus.

That being said items with Reaper bonuses can be traded put for Reaper Shards, so they're quite valuable in that capacity.

Farming Reaper difficulty also increases the named item drop rate, so you are a little bit more likely to get the item.to begin with.

Of course farming way overlevel goes significantly faster than doing it at level.

..and (hidden) Luck. Test with Seamus Luckpenny. Yeah, I'm guessing, but still, some toons are luckier n others.
