Narrators

What, no love for Wil Wheaton narrating a module he said he hasn’t ever run?

<Shut up, Wesley>

To be honest, though, I think he did a decent job.

My favorite is Ally Murphy, the narrator for Death House and Sunrise. The story voices and such, as well as her own voice, really adds to the quests.

...especially Death House...
"something small, and old, and forgotten"

Yes, Yaulthoon voice-guy is also great, in a completely different way.

Satine Phoenix was a great choice for the Sharn modules, but they should get Keith Baker in for the next Eberron quests.

Death House was incredibly good. But Ravenloft is still the best content in the game ever. Some of Sharn is really, really good. No mention of Salt Marsh? There's some very nice voice work in there. I want to like Feywild but some of it was too goofy for me? The Windmill quest comes to mind. However, Hyrsam is very well voiced.

I agree with most of examples here.

But one narrator wjo I can't stand is one who voiced feywild wilderness, catacombs and number of other content.

His tone always sounds like he despises players and what he narrates. (seriously if a DM used that tone at my table I'd ask him if I seduced his girlfriend or something like that)

Especially pixie village in feywild. I always feel like he's about to mock pixies for making village there.

I feel like I'm the only one who turned off the narrators.

Did this like twelve years ago, but turned it on when Ravenloft came out, also turned the music on for that one.
(then turned it off afterwards)

Oh, and the rare occasion we do whisperdoom, I turn on narration for obvious reasons...

I had narrators and music turned off for most of my time playing DDO.
Only in last few years I turned narrator on and no music still.
