THIS is a great idea.I wonder if there is a way to add an amenity to the airship, similar to the Founder's Commemorative Fountain in the harbour?
This way, guild members can be forever immortalized.

When you get off you're break do me a favor and make me a McFlurry and stop concering yourself with what we are doing. We group. team and run full raids like anyone else while in discord. Get over yourself and make me my drink.I wonder where the hermits from Wayfinder gonna seek refuge now .

I have one of those in my guild, inactive over 10 years but kept for sentimental reasons. We have guild mates who have passed away and others who can no longer play. I am saddened at those lost connections but at least their names were remembered in our guild and would conjure memories and laughter. It will be sad to lose those connections as another aspect of the history of the guild is lost, not just guild renown.

EDIT: Just checked, 11 years 6 days now
Some players that earned renown may have been gone for years. If server transfers weren’t happening, there would be no impact to guild renown. Since the server transfers are essentially required to keep playing the game, I think there should be no change to guild renown regardless of the circumstances. It shouldn’t matter who moves, who doesn’t, who rejoins, and who doesn’t as long as the guild leader packs and unpacks on the new server. This is a forced event and shouldn’t have a negative effect on guild levels and benefits. We understand that one of your key questions about Guild Renown is what happens to historically-earned Guild Renown for characters that never transfer with the guild and thus are no longer part of the guild membership on your destination world. We are also investigating options as applies more widely related to guild renown.
Yup, so many scenarios that could negatively affect guilds. Also players that transferred servers in the past didn't negatively affect guild renown such as the Sarlona and Orien transfers. They likely won’t be rejoining the guild after the transfer. Maybe the solution is to just have all renown owned by the guild and no longer tied to characters.not just inactive... the players that have left the guild also didn't take all their reknown and wouldn't be able to transfer and give it back on the new server even if they are still active. I really hope it isn't a rebuild and you actually get the guild reknown tied with the guild.
Guilds only transfer with a guild leader. So you could pack a non-guild leader 1st (they'd get MM, shards, pets, mounts, shared bank/crafting attached to them) and move them. Then pack the guild leader(s) after. That would let you control what goes where when going to multiple worlds.Curious about a situation for those in multiple guilds - is it possible to transfer shared resources (such as shared bank) to one server, and guild resources (by transferring guild leader) to a different server? If so, are there specific procedures that should be followed (shared stuff first? guild stuff first?)
There will be free transfers from 64 bit to 64 bit at some point for anyone who ends up on the wrong serverWill there be free transfers from Cormyr to the other US servers or only the EU server?
While I am a VIP, and this doesn't apply, I have several people who it would.
If you at one point were a VIP, and created a toon that has some quality that isn't FTP, like a Tabaxi or an Alchemist, and then your VIP lapses so you can no longer play those toons.
Will it be possible to transfer them to a 64-bit world, or would you have to pay for VIP and/or buy the specific requirements?
I don't see there being a limitation on what toons you can transfer. That being said, you may have issues accessing it without a VIP sub, that is unless SSG relaxes the requirement(s) for a short period during the transfer window. Basically giving you enough time to make CAP and TR into something you can play. While I am a VIP, and this doesn't apply, I have several people who it would.

Why can't the Guild Renown be bound to the ship for the transfer, and delete all personal Renown? We understand that one of your key questions about Guild Renown is what happens to historically-earned Guild Renown for characters that never transfer with the guild and thus are no longer part of the guild membership on your destination world. I suspect it's largely so someone in a position of authority "doesn't" boots everyone and does a runner, or moves and refuses to reinvite those they dislilke. Why can't the Guild Renown be bound to the ship for the transfer, and delete all personal Renown?
When the guild leader packs his ship, the guild level is added to the pack. When it is unpacked, the ship retains its level, and all new characters come in with no renown. Treat the incoming renown as over 1 year old, so none is lost. The only thing lost is the personal renown, which is not an issue for most people.
It's the ship's level, not your contribution to it, that is important for this move.
Aye or if it has to be packed to a character then the guild leader character should have it packed with them so you know its still all going to the one placeWhy can't the Guild Renown be bound to the ship for the transfer, and delete all personal Renown?

Wherever we want. To quote my wife's T-Shirt of the cat holding a rattlesnake in its mouth "I tread where I want to"I wonder where the hermits from Wayfinder gonna seek refuge now .
Having farmed TP on Wayfinder for the sales this week, I met many casuals struggling for grouping and I felt really bad for them. Though I met occasionally also two or three players who were nor bound by AS (or others goodies not transferring) and really chose to stay there even if they could have transferred two years ago.Wherever we want.
