Is it recommended that guild leader transfer before guildies?
With the information we have yes. So when a guild member transfers the guild and renown are automaticly applied because the guild already exists on the server. Things are still WIP so better wait for the latest information when they announce the details of the pack transfer system.

its recommended we all wait for rabidfox to fully test everything so they can provide a groundrealities stepbystep tasklist of how to transfer safely :)(y)
I will transfer on the 31st of August when it will be highly safe to do it to not cuss in every language I know 😂

with that inmind users of WIN10 will be aware it comes with a gamebar integrated. One of the functions of the gamebar is video-recording.

So I suggest prior to transfer everyone videorecords ALL their characters, gear, character and shared bank space items etc etc so you have video evidence of all your digital assets prior to transfer. Thus if anything does go wrong you can knock on Rob Smith's door (y) :)

Are they going to do the free quest code for this year along with the server transfers? That code was sorely missed by a lot of new people who had been anticipating it in march-ish! It's really hard to rec this game when folks don't know when they will be able to access content.

We don't know. They don't tend to announce it before hand. As far as I know: LOTRO did not get the equivalent free quest code- even though they went through this whole 64-bit server ordeal already.

I agree that they should bring back the code. Or just make a lot of the oldest quest packs/expansions freely available.

I actually encountered a few people who just missed out on the codes the last time they were around. That was most unfortunate. It certainly dampened their spirits/motivation. There were also lots of people telling them that the code would most likely be back some day. So a lot of them just stopped playing; instead, waiting for that "some day" to arrive. They are still waiting 😣

This is also why I would be careful to tout the possibility of another DDO Free Quest coupon. I'm sure those who do so are meaning well. But it can have an adverse effect too, like in the example above.

Personally- I would love to have more new players around. It gives the game some much needed zest. And grouping with them is perhaps my most favourite thing of all!

I completely agree with you, Frisson. Tyrs Paladium is incredibly welcoming to new players—we love meeting new adventurers, and we believe they bring fresh energy to the entire game.

And to any NEW PLAYERS reading this: Join a guild. Seriously. Browse the recruitment threads here on the forums and find one that fits your personality and play style. Whether you're casual, introverted, or just learning the ropes, there’s a guild in DDO that will welcome you. Our guild, for example, sticks with our new players every step of the way.

And for you long-time veterans—this is the perfect moment to rediscover guild play. I honestly didn’t think we’d see this kind of momentum again, but here we are. If guilds stay strong, DDO won’t die. Let’s keep the fire burning.

Good time to bring up the request for APIs so we can extract data.

Then there will be a storm and power outage and you can cuss in languages you didn't know.
That's fair. Where I don't agree is the idea it should be included in the base character. There is room for improvement in inventory management I don't agree that should be a priority over content.

Which server is best for players from Australia and New Zealand?
When the Euros are raiding (let's say 8 PM), it'll be 4AM in Sydney. When the Yanks are raiding, it'll be 10AM in Sydney. If you're running raids in the evening in Sydney, it'll be 6 AM in NYC, and noon in Berlin. Everyone I know from OZ and Japan is going to US servers... but the Aussie-led raids might be better off on Moonsea, unless you're willing to run them during off hours. Cheers, from Berlin.

Has anything been said about 1st time favour bonuses on the new servers?

Does it need to be a brand new character getting the favour, or can a character we transfer over earn it?

If we can transfer over, do we need to have 0 favour and start earning it? If we transfer over as a level 18 with 1,450 (e.g.) favour does the favour get reset for the new server and we will accrue favour from 0 (and be entitled to earn 1st time favour) or do we keep our favour the way we keep our guild renown? If we keep our favour, do we still get 1st time favour rewards on the server starting from 0 (so at 1,455 we get our 1st reward)? Or starting at 1,500 as per usual?
Cheers.

I wont be taking any chances with this, have been heavily pillaging all the 32 bit servers since the transfer announcement for first time ddo point bonuses on all of them. I wont even take the chance of transfering to the new servers until i put a heavy dent in the ddo points first time favor server bonuses there with new toons first before any toons transfer.

I will take no gambles on not having perfect execution during the new server transfer process.

I am curious. In terms of real life money what kind of "pay-per-hour" does this net you?
Its an honest question though I see why it could be otherwise. But no ill meaning is intended.

I personally did the 100 favor run to all servers.
I had a bit of fun on all with random characters but I stopped before it becomes to repetitive or tiring.
I'm not vip so I get to get openers and help in general to do stuff on elite.

My advice target coin Lord favor, you get to transfer toons with extra inventory 😅.

If you really enjoy the grinding and you can easily open to elite. Going for 500 is not that hard and you can also get Kundarak favor to have ready mules for the transfer.

But without elite that is a slow process.

Aye, I get that and the mules with favor is a good point.

How long did it take you to do 100 favor on say 7 servers though?
I assume you used iconics for the deed.

Lvl 7 veterans are more than enough. But I had a mix of characters. If u plan and execute the 100 is ~2h assuming some unlocking especially for long qeusts
Harbor is a very fast to mine area btw

No idea actually but i have a lot of fun doing it, i set my goals around 1000 favor on each server but i am not beyond going further than that if i an really in the mood for gaming hard and fast, which all around is a different playstyle for me as i usually like to explore most of the quest versus taking the fastest route to conclusion, i am also usually much more thorough with my gear but during this i just zerg with little care. It is refreshing in that sense and i dont know if I could measure that in dollar values.
