I would somehow be on the servers seconds prior to them actually going online to have a small possiblity of getting my names. I know some of you are so deranged, you're traveling to Vegas to setup your comps next to the servers just so you can deny me of my prize.

But it is well known and statements have been issued by SSG that no names are reserved. The Elminster name is a well know name in the fantasy genre, you have absolutely zero claim to the name. The best strategy is to have zero expectation and then you will have zero disappointment with the upcoming name race.

Yes, it was supposed to be on the 9th, but yesterday it was postponed to the 15th. I guess they ran into a last-minute setback.

They should’ve posted the date change on the frontpage for everyone to see.

My guild was so confused and thought I was shanking them when I said the dates moved back until they checked the forums, which many players don’t do.

So is it happening on Tuesday July 15th or Wednesday July 16th???
