New destinies are not going to help when you wreck the basic game

Yeah the changes are honestly kinda bizarre, I might be missing something in all the numbers but it seems like the changes are just going to be making the game more slow and grindy which I can't imagine too many players want. That said I am excited for the new ED.

Total nonsense. The lag is embedded in the original build of the game. I for 1 will reduce playing for sure. The lag now is ok. The sudden freezes hardly ever kill my characters. Reduce the Xp needed to level MUST accompany this. All stick ok if it helps BUT no carrot. Never.

It’s going to be a fundamental nerf to either overall quest xp or quest completion times…or for some players, both.

It reeks of an intentional, yet poorly thought out money grab.

Yes. Yes it is.

99% of this game is grind, and they’ve effectively hamstrung every player trying to be efficient about it.
How does it impact folks who don't barely ever see DA then?

I rarely do, and by extension neither do all the various folks I PUG with, or I would too. There are definitely some outlier quests that need to be looked at for false DA activation, but not that many I reckon.

Personally I'm pretty relaxed about these changes. TBH I'm also pretty relaxed about them rethinking if that's what the outcome is.

Don't get me wrong, I completely get that you and others aren't as relaxed about them, and that's perfectly OK, YMMV, but I honestly don't think it will affect as many folks as you think, or claim, here. If you mean zergers by those being efficient about grind then yes. This hits them. But not everyone, or even the majority, afaict, zergs.

My big issue is that it makes favor farming that much slower. As a player who doesn't own a lot of content, the best use of my time is usually to run through quests quickly so I can start racking up favor. Now, I'm basically just getting more punished for doing that... and favor => store points is already a really slow transaction.

I rarely see DA unless things aggro through the floor/walls or other shenanigans. Hubby and I slay everything we come across, break most everything, do most/all optionals sort of playstyle but there are some dungeons where even with that playstyle you don't typically get conquest bonus for whatever reason.

The way this change would impact me is with the significant shift of xp moved from first time bonus? to conquest would reduce the actual XP I get from any quest that for whatever reason getting conquest bonus is unusual or problematic. After all, getting first time bonus was never problematic.

That's fair. ?

To clarify, I was really focusing on the DA changes here.

On the XP changes thread you'll see I think they should wait to implement those, if at all, until after assessing the DA changes impact.

Apologies for my lack of clarity here. ??

Again, this is gonna hit everyone. It’s gonna hit everyone simply because as this stands now everyone has to get conquest just to get the same XP we’d all get w/ BB before this poorly thought out nerf. At the very least it’s a nerf in either overall xp or xp/min.

They already have entirely too much grind in this game. U60 only adds to it.

Please read my clarification above. I think you may have missed it. ??
