new error with the update

The error is a bit weird. After typing in password, the error is "Where is the game executable?" Then C: drive opens up the ddo folder with all the files.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the client, but the same error. I tried all the usual fixes like run as administrator, etc. Any advice?

Sounds like antivirus has quarantined the executable?

Ok, that pointed me in the right direction but the walk-around is really odd. Can someone figure out why this worked...

*Right clicked on launcher...
*Went to compatibility mode
*Clicked run the compatibility troubleshooter
*Then clicked "test this option"
*Then splash screen loaded, and I was able to log in
*Windows then said, "compatibility mode: Windows 8"

Never had a problem with the launcher until 59.4...
