WIN 11 has caused many issues in games since the 25H2 patch. Disable CoPilot if you didn't already, just that can burn 2-10GB by itself.
Also suggest looking up "remove WIN 11 bloatware", and dump everything MS is hiding in the background, nothing there is important. (y)

well now I'm having this issue. Trying to come back to the game for the arcane trickster and wanted to resub but not until I can figure this out. Game freeze up for 1-2 seconds every minute or so. Unplayable and its not general lag, it seems to be just me. Was working fine a few months ago

Thanks! I was able to fix it monitoring my resources I noticed network spiked every time i froze up and it ended up being a printer process! Apparently i had a bugged out print job that kept trying to send and cause spikes in the network and game freezes every minute or so. Turning off my printer made it stop.

Dude. The exact same thing is happening to me on my PC. Works just fine on my Laptop.

Did you download the Nvidia App for your driver update? I know my drivers would not update anymore until I did. And that app is full of Ad notifications and has some crazy hotkeys that affect DDO hotkeys.

I do not have a full fix, however I can tell you it significantly improves if you block notifications in windows from Nvidia. I also quit the app and that also seemed to improve performance.

If all else fails, the Steam option is more stable on my sytem, I found. But I really do not like the added resources it uses and there are some features on your PC that does not sync well.

This started to happen to me about a week ago. Annoying as h....
Tried alot of stuff mentioned in here but nothing seems to work.
It's starting to get unplayable.
There is a * plig* sound and then it freezes for a coupe of seconds....then it can be fine for som eperiod of time and then it starts again and it can freeze up to 5-6 times in a row. *pling pling pling pling pling*
Often, when it unfreezes I have to press T because when it unfreezes it starts with "mouse look"...not all of the time bot like 50% of the time.
