Nicholas 'Nick' Faella (DDO toons Swannist, Armondel, Steelly, Elronnde, Viic, Ganndalph, Heartledge, Abbrahm, Willardd) has passed away

I found out a couple of days ago that Nicholas 'Nick' Faella (DDO toons Swannist, Armondel, Steelly, Elronnde, Viic, Ganndalph, Heartledge, Abbrahm, Willardd, among many others) passed away on June 10th, 2024. He had been suffering from health problems for some time but still managed to play DDO as much as he could. Normally, he played daily. Nick had been a feature on the Argonnessen server for as long as I have been playing (10+ years). I suspect everyone has a 'Nick' story. He had his eccentricities but was a regular and reliable questing partner for many of us.

To honor our fallen brother, I would like us to gather in a show of our respect. To that end, My character, 'Jadzira', will be standing on the bridge in front of the Marketplace bank from 9:00 PM (central time) until 9:30 PM on October 30th, 2024. I hope you will join me to show Nick that his absence has not gone unnoticed Rest in Peace

Yes, he will be missed. He definitely played daily and would often times join any pug raid or r10 group that got posted. He was very knowledgeable about casters and i often time picked his brain when i could. RIP

ugh. I hate seeing these posts. Even when I don't know them personally, I just think about their family and all their friends and wish them well.

Hope you're having a game with Gary and Dave now

I have toons on every server so I am unsure if I ever ran with them, but it is always sad to lose someone that went out of their way to help with others. He will be missed.

Nick was a reliable, inclusive, and knowledgeable comrade in arms. I'm glad to have known him, and happy to have spent so many great times at the keyboard with him.

Nick was my homey and a good egg. I'm sorry I missed this post over the summer. I'd have liked to have witnessed his memorial.
