Red reaper steed mount from the Q&A. Color wasn't said for the armor/helm/cloak.

Great! I will go for all the new cosmetics without a doubt. And for last year's mount, unfortunately because a relative of mine was very ill at that time, last year I did not have the opportunity to participate.

Mabar is my favorite event. It provides xp and is therefore useful in normal play, the dungeons are entertaining and without btc barriers (btc crystal cove compasses ahem), it has useful rewards (like diamonds) despite a lot of meh loot, and it also has cosmetics for people like me who love those things. Definitely my favorite event.

I love mabar for the exp. (y)

Then I spend the mats on junk I don't want, need or use.

Haha, that youtube video above, the dev's said they did a bow revamp a few years ago.
(it was really a nerf and they haven't added any named longbows since)

For those curious, here's the named Longbows we've added since then:
  • (Heroic/Legendary) Shining Reliquary Longbow
  • (Heroic/Legendary) Defiled Reliquary Longbow
  • Legendary Ship-Siege Bow (ML32)
  • Legendary Petrifying War Bow
  • Legendary Gnollish War Bow
  • Legendary Infectious War Bow
  • Legendary Destructive War Bow
  • Legendary Bloody War Bow
  • Attuned Bone Longbow
  • Dinosaur Bone Longbow
Additionally, there's a significant list of Longbows that released with Saltmarsh (both in those quests and with Legendary Crafting) but were built after we started implementing the Bow changes, even if they released before it.

There's certainly more we'd like to do in terms of making Bows a better playstyle in the future.

Reasons to run shortbow vs longbow would be fun (heavy vs light xbows/repeaters- yeah, I know there's the attack rate difference but that seems to vanish for me by cap).

Any information on new color armor for this season?

So its sort of a combination of the Armor of Celebration and the 16th Anniversary Armor in an ochre brown? I guess Armor of Celebration lacked a light armor version. I'm not enthused for this but I'm sure it will appeal to others. I hope we aren't done getting Reaper Armor colors. White has been requested for many years, and now that Red is properly red a truly Orange variety would be good too.

I like the look of the new armor, but I don't understand why every piece of armor in this game has to have a skull on it.
Their cosmetic armor either has skulls which is over used or a variation of black, which is also over used.

After playing a rogue bow user in DIablo 4 it makes bows in DDO look and feel slow and boring.

They've said that ingredients from previous Night Revels will expire with U62. Seems possible that could come out on Wednesday, but I'd be surprised if they launched this year's Night Revels the same day.

There are armors with a blackish hue, but there is no armor that is truly black.
I want a truly black armor.

I don't want a dull black!
