No Audio

Ever since SSG rolled back that OpenAL update I don't have sound in game. I didn't have any problems before. I can select my sound device in the options, but there's no sound at all. I only get about 2 seconds of sound whenever I quit the game (!).

Try going into your documents folder>DDO and rename your userpreference.ini file. That'll reset your game settings entirely and see if the audio starts working (I suspect it'll still be bugged, but just curious). Then you can quit, delete the fresh file, and rename the file back to restore.

Thanks. It didn't work, unfortunately. But it turns out I have sound in the intro movie. Probably because it's played by something else.

Update: I haven't done anything, but my sound automagically returned today. And I really hope it stays >_> fingers crossed.
