No Holds Barred and Endless Fusillade

I think it's fine to rebalance attacks to accommodate server performance (as long as the end damage is balanced well.)

However, if these abilities are going to take a hit, can we at least get that horrible wind-up cast time removed? Sluggish cast times for combat-related abilities never feel good in video games. The original no holds barred was faster, and even that version felt too slow. I was really confused why it was slowed down to begin with. You should be able to hit a boost in combat, and have it work immediately.

Also, have you considered reworking how these abilities function since they are effecting server performance that much? is -20% really even going to help anything? Instead of firing faster, have them just add 200% doubleshot (or whatever balanced value works.)

I've played bth Arti and Inquis since the 'slowdown'.

BOTH feel terrible leveling, and only feel decent once you get EF and/or NHB.

Swap those to doubleshot and those two classes will feel terrible all the time, regardless of actual damage numbers.

It's one of the strongest action boosts in the game, so a bit of wind up seems justified.

More often than not, you can hit it before initiating combat so you're not even really losing anything.

They could just reduce the duration. The wind-up is stupid lol. Like when you have a super slowass spinny active attack

Could do. They probably thought "this ability is amazing DPS, so let's give it a slight drawback as well" which seems very reasonable.
only action boost that lasts 18 seconds and has a windup. this is wrong
So? You have to look at the ability holistically. Despite lasting 2 seconds less, it's still one of the strongest action boosts out there.

It's probably in the top 10% of them even with the slow start, which can often be worked around anyway.

I think getting rid of wind up would be fine, or even good: if you know the quest like the back of your hand, the wind up does little to slow you down, only if you are new or don't memorize quests so much.

I'm going to retire my Inquisitive. It just feels too slow and unresponsive. Another playstyle butchered by poor design.
