"No Mercy" build

Has anyone ever maxed out helpless damage?

I am trying to build a Ninja Spy/Falconry/Thief Acrobat build that hits all the No Mercy upgrades. Might use Greater Color Spray to make it easy to lock them down, then Haste Boost, Chain Shadowblades, and Whirlwind.:ninja:

I think you are better off doing max sneak damage and then grabbing no mercy boosts in feats, destinies and gear.
Sneak dice go nicely with this approach—even just straight assassin, or pure TA and Horizon walker. Before vistani we were going tier 4 TA for no mercy and improved uncanny dodge.

30 (TA) + 15 mantle + 15 epic feat + 15 artifact is already 75. HW gets another 30 stacking if you think you really need it…

I woukd look for fun synergies; A high crit-range build will get brief stuns in Fatesinger strikes which with buffed no mercy makes for fun combo—you bank on the rapid hit, short cooldown and high helpless damage to eliminate them fast.

I'd imagine the main thing for such a build isnt max Helpless Damage, but maxing your uptime and DC for Helpless itself. I dont know how long you'll be able to rely on GCS to consistently apply Helplessness.

Dlord Roar is probably the most reliable to build around...can get your DC pumped pretty high, it works on everything, and its got a decently short CD. Improved Trip with T5 Dreadnought and THF would also be a good way to apply it steadily, though there's plenty of Trip immune mobs to worry about.

Another option is to use a Guardbreaking item...that will give you one round of Helpless damage after every crit. Maw is probably the best way there, since Kukri has a big crit range and can be centered for use with Ninja, and is generally a good weapon on its own.

Also dont forget Horc gets 20% Helpless damage in its racials. But each of the No Mercy line is a T4, meaning each one will take 23 AP. That only leaves you 11 AP, which is your GCS, and then that's it. No T5 enhancements thus no crit bonus, no WIS trance, nothing from Henshin or Shintao so very little MP. TA and Ninja are pretty weak trees on their own merit, especially with no T5s.

Using the 3 Trees you mentioned can get you to the theoretical maximum . The other factors you need to reach it are : being racial comp to get another 20% , having 15% artifact bonus from set/solar aug . Using fury mantle and getting to 4 core of SD .
Theortical maximum breakdown:
-base dmg vs helpless +50%
-t4 Falc/TA/NiS +90%
-crush weakness feat +15%
-Artifact bonus +15%
-half orc racial tree t4 +20%
-fury mantle +18%
-SD core 4 +3%

Overall : 211% dmg vs helpless
To put that in scale ,fully upgraded adrenaline is 225% dmg .

The problem is that helpless dmg is overkill. On r10 they are lasting maybe 2-3 hits max. I don’t even bother taking crush weakness on dragon lord builds.

afaik guard breaking only daze, which shouldn´t effect helpless dmg.

Worth adding is that the DL roar adds a 20% moral bonus to helpless dmg.

A functional tried and tested build is Horc, SWF, 14/5/1. If you can live with how squishy they are, they put out some allround sweet DPS.
