Not Favoured by my deity???

I'm a Paladin with Sovereign Host (Favoured Weapon: Longsword) with all core abilities from Knight of the Chalice (6 Imbue Die with Light Damage, along with other abilities).
I have been using the Longsword, but at some point stopped getting the additional Light Damage.
Any time I switch from one Longsword to another (or switch to Longsword from another weapon) I get the following messages:

(Combat): +1 to hit with Favored Weapons​

(Combat): You are affected by holy combatant.​

(Combat): +2 to hit and damage with Favored Weapons​

(Combat): You are affected by knight's training​

(Combat): +1 to hit and damage with Favored Weapons​

(Combat): You are affected by ascendant training.​

(Combat): +2 to hit and damage with Favored Weapons​

(Combat): You are affected by your favored weapon attack bonus.​

(Combat): +2 to hit and damage with Favored Weapons​

(Combat): You are affected by your favored weapon attack bonus.​

(Combat): +2 to hit and damage with Favored Weapons​

(Combat): Your favored weapon attack bonus effect has been removed from you.​

Can anyone explain why I'm not getting my imbue die and bonus effects are being removed from me, despite my using a favoured weapon?

Mmm.... just an odd question here, but you didn't happen to take Axiom of Faith in Divine Crusader to get a "second" favored weapon type did you?

Just to be clear, you actually are failing to do any Imbue damage? You're not just assuming that from the combat log?

What stands out to me there is its applying a "favored weapon attack bonus" twice in a row. The last line may simply be telling you where the second copy of the bonus is overwriting the first copy, and may not imply that you're losing all the other favored weapon bonuses.

But if you're wielding a longsword, you have your imbue toggled on, and you're not doing light damage against typical mobs, then yeah there's a bug. It might be lag related - something like the game is not properly applying the "favored" tag before the imbue checks to see if you're wielding a favored weapon = in which case unequipping and reequipping the weapon may clear it out

Yeah @Bettayne we need more info:
A) a picture of your KotC enhancements
B) whether you have Axiom of Faith from Divine Crusader
C) whether the issue is just the bolded line in the OP or if your imbue has problems too

I noticed on my favored soul with favored long sword that if you died (I ended up in tavern, because played solo, so I am not sure about other scenarios), then you may lost your imbue damage even if it shows as toggled on, but I did not check if it also affects other favored bonuses.
Resetting imbue toggle (turning off and then on) or switching a weapon or relogging can solve this.
