Not having any public events to run is getting tiring and boring... please atleast turn on Crystal Cove

You might have Crystal Cove in September for Talk Like A Pirate Day, Night Revels for sure in October, then flacidcore sometime thereafter, then Festivult likely in December, followed by Snowpeaks probably around the first month of 2027, so calm your tits, there’s going to be plenty of crap to run in the coming months.

Want something to do, as others have said, there’s the new expansion, the raid coming in August, and probably what will be the 13th quest for the expansion as the freebie (like Body and Mind was for Lamordia) sometime thereafter.
Says you?

F. I am SO TIRED OF "INFLUENCERS."

I appreeciate the input but GD, this is BS.

No. Thank you.
DDO events are boring endless grind fest. You literally forced to abandon your normal gameplay and grind gring grind as fast as possible to be able to get something.
I'd rather see no more events in DDO. Ever.
I wouldn't mind the grind for an event, but the items offered are way past useful.

Yeah, Crystal Cove events items are way out of date. No Sun/Moon slots, no update to ML 35, some of the old Cove items are buggy and cannot be upgraded nor feed into sentient gems. They just take up "bank space".

The event itself needs an update. Kobold workers, speeches & unions are 16 years old. Update 8 was 2010!
The cute dialogs were fun back in the day, but now they're getting old.

But we still don't have kobold race to play!?

New public event coming in the Fall...

See Draculetta's YouTube channel for further details.

most events are boring and generate massive lag
Disagree.
Why are they boring, specifically? I mean, there are several...... and lag. ROFFLMF**AO!! that's still here on the 64-bit servers without ANY EVENT RUNNING!
So, do enlighten us? Or either of the 2 posters that upvoted your post?
*BTW, if they're "boring," don't run them. allow us gamers to play it out, at least.

"I don't want any events ever again"

lol + lmao

As I have said many times before and will say many times again: This is why they interact more on Discord than on the forums. These kind of boomer takes are genuinely why they stopped interacting w/ the forums

I have never been forced to run a single thing in DDO. You should maybe talk to your local law enforcement if you are doing things against your will.

Especially for a game which is meant to be played for enjoyment.

You do enjoy the game, right ?

I like the Events, would be cool to see some of the items get Sun/Moon Aug slots though. I have a few of the items more as gags to run meme builds during the reincarnation loop or when I get tired of endgame.

Agreed. Would be good if there were items which were as good as any available in dungeons, including either set bonuses, or Sun/Moon and not just cosmetics.

And accessible to people without the need to run dozens and dozens of times - for those who not only hate farming, but also choose not to farm.

Sun/Moon should not apply to events. Events have their own items.
There has been no new event that would "know" about Sun and Moon.

If not that, then put them in a set. Some of the items are okay, but when we have sun/moon dropping on Tavern Tales and Night Brigade it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to leave em out of the event.

Yeah exactly, a Crystal Cove set or a Snowpeaks set would be superb, especially since you can get multiple ML tiers of some event items - that would be one way to get people to do them. Or let me swap Snowpeaks tokens for those augs, they let us get Festive Augs after all.

So now they should create new Item sets? Way to derail the OP.

When is Crystal Cove going to run? Or is the plan to make it obsolete yet sell items for it like .....

To REPEAT: This is AN HISTORIC EVENT. It does not drop new-fangled items. **this is why this event and the egg hunt will probably never be run again but SSG will continue to sell the items in the Store,

Any idea what coding that would take *consideiring so-called "spaghetto code?"

I think I know what the h8 is about regarding CC. It still honors "old items." <-- one of two things I LOVE about this Event.
The second thing I like is: I know the rules. For now, I guess, considering another source of H8 may be youngsters' FOMO.
