Odd thing with the Owlbear whistle

Darling and Owlbear specifically need a bit of brain surgery, is in process but didn't want people to have to live through the weekend with them. They're both popular so they were getting used a lot and that use ended up looking something like:
Darling: "I sense a monster in here"
Owlbear: "I see it too. You wanna attack that?"
Darling: "Yes but ... maybe let's attack the whole server too, just in case"
Owlbear: "I concur. The only way to ensure the enemies are gone"

Champs with pumpkins beside them are not the same as the Night Revels champions. Night Revels champions have a dark blue/purple name along with the champ crown/pumpkin icon.
This is a regular champion - it just has the crowned pumpkin icon instead of normal champion icon during Night Revels:
This is a Night Revels champion - note the difference in name color and special title? These are the ones that got turned off temporarily.

They did it to make it look like they're doing something about the lag problems.
Night revels will be over soon and the extreme lag will be gone and we can go back to normal lag.

I just tried summoning darling, and it showed the timer bar and did nothing, and then immediately stopped responding, eventually red disconnection icon and connection to server lost dialog box in windows.Did the Dev's ever say when the Owlbear and Rat are coming back or are they being nixed? If they are then we should get a replacement, I'd like the Ravenloft scarecrow please.
I am going to say no, they have not returned to duty at this time.

Its more like:
Darling: "I sense monster(s) in the room ahead".
Owlbear: "Me too. I sense dinner. Let me block on the door, why don't you sneak under me as a rat and hit them from behind".
Darling: "Certainly, that works for me..."
Owlbear: proceeds to go find the door... The door has multilayered and variant colors and the Owlbear's eyes turns into confused eyes.
Darling: "Oi, don't just stand there... block the **** door". Darling is sneaking behind one monster and is confused by the multitude of monster backs and the confused eyes of the Owlbear and got hit; and yells, "Oi! I am injured!". Darling the injured look at the menacing Owlbear, clutch its side and hiss, "Oi, feather-for-brains, patch me up before I bleed out and the fumans catch a whiff of rat stew!"
