Running Coin Lords and House K favor still is a matter of choice and possibly habit though.

I stopped doing that when they gave us a lot of extra shared space and havent looked back.

The issue here really becomes if you are trying to do more than one ETR per full TR.

You have to be mindful of the quests you run and when or you’ll make your life miserable on the second or third ETR.

Also when you’re a new player and you first hit epics, it’s a massive change. Do I think we need more level 20 quests though? No.

Personally on all my alts I do at least 5-6 ETRs because they stay in epic for a year, possibly two. My main is an epic completionist so I can't ETR which drives me crazy because I've conditioned myself over the years to 'prepare' sagas and wilderness rather than hunt xp.

What I do is skip doing quests that have an epic counterpart in heroic. So when I hit 20, I just join von or sands flagging quests and c1 and suddenly you're ready to do GH and then usually with some wilds you're 30. Sentinels and carnival give too little xp so I don't consider them important, I do them whenever there's an LFM. After the first ETR I usually IQ12-Vecna-devils-borderlands intermingled with some chrono or von or demon queen all the while keeping an eye for c2 (I hate soloing c2) and start keeping an eye out for prepping whatever wilderness I've run a lot.

Intermingle all that with people running sagas on r1, even lamordia-faildranor you can easily do with a group at level 25-26-27.

We have so many sagas in the game now and so many wilderness, that after 2-3 ETRs you can just go 20-25 just by popping sagas or prepped wilderness. However, it's not as good doing that AT 25, the best value is at 20 and decreases as you get higher.

Oh I have got to 20 with a metric ton of characters, but I always have this awful grind in front of me to get to 21 with so few quests that I have done *so* many times now that the last thing I want to see is yet another sentinels run.

This game has long since left many of the actual DnD rules behind. I consider its "based" on DnD now rather than actually trying to stick to the rules. Fact is, you get Epic destinies at 20 therefore at 20 your an Epic level character and there should be more content at that level considering this is a milestone of character progression. Two rehashed quest series kind of doesn't cut it - especially when the carnival one is dire (IMO - any quest series where you need to protect an NPC is an immediate "never do again" on my list!) The sentinels one I could do in my sleep.

Just seems some levels get little love. About time 20 got a few more quests.

While I'm always up for killing Kobolds in the Sewers, I don't want to see quests in the L20~L23 range at all. We already have KOB at L21 and I don't run them. Instead, I step directly into doing L24 quests when I hit L20. The L21 don't give enough XP by comparison.

However, compared to Heroic levels, the Epics levels are an XP desert. There's so much XP in heroics that at best you might do 20% of the available quests. In Epics, it feels more like 80%.

Von 3-4 are pretty good though and the whole von 1-6 def nice xp if can get a raid together

KF is not bad quests are super quick, generally estar is nice/fast levelling - that said a dedicated 5-6 man slayergroup full of active players is the fastest way to level in epics

At the mo, lvl 20 is my pause and reflect level. Where the toon takes a pit stop, redoes enhancements, does a full equipment replacement and fills all those aug slots I couldn't be bothered doing. Replacing cosmetic gear and possibly a new hairdo.

I'll do a round of the level 20 quests I actually like then clear all the heroic ones for favour feats I may have missed. Especially on iconics. You can do lvl 12 and up at 20 and still get exps (if doing HE). Oh and clear the bank of junk I accumulated. Thats my thing in lieu of anything in game which landmarks it. Game just says "whoop - your a hero, here's some destiny points, on your way now".... which is a let down. Mind you it does even less at 30 :\

I try to leave 21 quests as long as possible so I have a good run of those when I get there.
