Why do I have 522 ddo build files
Are you tired of switching off your DPS main to a tank alt for raids? Tired of your party members not healing you on a tank? Tired of playing a tank with negative DPS? Wanting to solo some chill raids? Required to play a toaster for meme guild stuff?
This build came from me making a SWF DPS Barb for toaster raids; once I considered Machrotechnic (that part inspired by Tronko's VKF Barb) and Scion of Mechanus, it only took a few design changes to make this DPS/Tank hybrid. It's something like 80% of a DPS crossed with 80% of a tank, and 30% of a healer as long as you only consider toasters. Plenty of flexibility to skew those numbers at your leisure.
Design considerations:
I had a bunch of defensive tools (IUD + hat, Scream, RF pots, Dark Discorp clickies, Sheath + Fire Shield pots, Rage + Blood Feast, heals, etc)
Good heal options (Reconstruct SLA, Mending Burst - competing with QC for epic strike, Scream, Rage, One Spirit)
Pros:
Anyway, it's definitely not the best hybrid out there but it's pretty accessible and a lot of fun so thought I'd share

Design considerations:
- For hybrid building your ED split is ~locked - Machro T5 for mantle HP boost, RAmp, Mending Burst, and general melee stuff; Fury for Quick Cutter and Scream/Rage heal; and Draconic for casting while raged and energy sheath.
- OS is the best Barb tank tree, and it's not a lot worse DPS than FB for SWF (massively worse for THF, but you get much of FB anyway) but you're not locked to it.
- Weapon is flexible to anything you can use with KT; I used warhammers for novelty (and x10 on 19-20), but just match up with ICrit and you're good.
- You can easily flex most of the build into tankier or more DPS - max Con instead of Str, take PRR in WF tree, drop FB stuff for tankier choices or drop OS for DPS choices, etc.
- Gear is flexible based on what you have available, have good boosts on, or how tank/DPS focused you want to be - I did fast/easy on-hand gearing for me (Devil's Infernal Dance + Forbidden Knowledge + Mantle of Suulomades), but it's pretty easy to load whatever direction you want (more PRR/MRR, more Repair stuff, less tank focus, etc).

Leveling order (swap IC:Bludgeoning as applicable, I leveled with VKF T5):
Enhancements:
Epic Destinies (swap Draconic type as applicable per raid, mostly Fire/Electric but Acid for DoV):

Good heal options (Reconstruct SLA, Mending Burst - competing with QC for epic strike, Scream, Rage, One Spirit)
Pros:
- Reasonable DPS compared to most melees (incredible when compared with any tank I've seen)
- Most fun tank I've played by a lot
- Comfortable quest soloing R4-6
- Never lost aggro to DPS once I hit - DPS x 6.3 (given 130% standing threat +400% on Intim) plus QC's DoT helps - I lost aggro twice in a month of regular raiding (once to someone hitting Intim, once to burst between my Intim and me hitting the enemy).
- Anyone that can heal can heal you - I had 270/250 HAmp/RAmp, so everything got decent numbers
- Shards of Mechanus heals for like a lot in LH/R1 raids
- You have incredible heals for allied toasters
- Barb's 14% DR and 100+ SR help a lot for weird stuff
- You can use clickies and scrolls while raging
- 18ish Rages each giving 1400 temp HP and a solid heal helps a lot for panic spots
- Your in-combat self-healing falls off in mid-Reaper
- No Quicken Spell means your heals take a while (SLA so they don't get interrupted)
- Not as much DPS as a full DPS Barb or as much tank as a full tank Barb
- No shield throw - spread out fights can be hard to grab aggro, although hitting stuff on the way by works pretty well
- AC being a dump stat means everything hits you, so you eat heals when getting dunked
- People expect you to be a dedicated tank or dedicated DPS
- People forget they might need to heal you at bad parts of raids if you're good at surviving the rest of the raid
Solo LN Skellies on first try (incl 27 mins to get past first room; I suspect it could do LH in ~2 hours but that's longer than I want to spend):
Crush LH LVoD (takes about one heal to get through Orthons; I beat them on R1 but estimate it would take ~an hour for the whole raid which again ugh):

- Also soloed LN FoM w/opt (21:32), LN LLoB w/opt (43:16), R1 DoJ (19:43, killed Eudoxia ~entirely during Jibbs after trying to tank Worm spit), got to LH Dryad final boss 3x (raid just wouldn't phase after 4th puzzle, this was about a week before I figured out Bear is mandatory).
- Can tank both bosses in LH Skellies on-platform during green phase (I usually get ~20% of dino HP off before the party gets there).
- Tanked three sets of low-mid-skull toaster raids, did about as well as our other (full) tank
