Orien - Lag

The public areas of orien have been almost unplayable. Spending 30 seconds running 10 feet should never happen.

I did notice that when I got into an adventure the lag got signifiantly less.

Mostly Any city was lagging. Airship however did not lag.

Who knows!

How many more lag posts are going to be posted? 28 and counting!
Maybe until SSG apologizes for the years and years they've let this go on without addressing it properly and is more forthcoming about how bad it has been. They've let thousands of us complain for years, let rumors fly, finger pointing continue unabated, and myriad player "solutions" run rampant whilst they knew all along it was their shoddy infrastructure and lack of capital investment.

Apologize for what? There is nothing wrong with DDO nor has there ever been. It's simply your computer.

Indeed this is a major part of the SSG gaslighting we've been led to believe was part of the problem and thus allowed to promulgate as "clearly" the reason for the latency and lag.

I had the exact opposite experience. No lag in public areas, but step into wilderness or quest and it was pretty bad. Orien also, btw.

Lag is just an acknowledgement to pen and paper d&d when the DM is looking something up in the book.

Working as intended.

doh, if you all were doing what you're supposed to be doing over on Cormyr the lag would go away. I blame the lag on to many players gaming and not testing.

Orien is currently unplayable for me. Keeps stopping my toon for 10+ seconds, then it bumps around for another 10+ seconds. Very fun in quests while combating MoBs.

You failed your save versus sarcasm, I guess I was too subtle.
