I can do things others can't...
Just had a look at the Shadows over in Thunderholme, and it looks like Shadows are compressed down via some transformation of their avatar, likely involving transparency again. Using Greater Colour Spray, it is possible to blind hem and see that even the blindness icon above their heads become compressed and flatted onto the ground. Further suggesting that it's a transparency (with overlay) issue at play.

Whilst I haven't gone into Baba's Hut yet (need more time) I remember that the Wisps can cast Ball Lightning. Anyone want to guess what that spell does? Besides the electrical damage that is. Anyone? Yep. Lighting, it creates a lighting effect that's dynamic because it needs to follow the projectile.

Starting to suspect all our troubles really is caused from Dynamic Lighting.

Will see if I can't prove that later, need to find a way to spawn loads of the shadows and have someone else cast the spells with lighting effects on them and see if that lags the instance out...

For at least the past two days on Thrane, most likely since the patch, mobs in The Key to the Mythal (heroic at least) have been exhibiting similar standing around in derp derp mode behavior until I kill enough that there are only 2-3 left before they start moving. The ones I get within melee range of will attack and cast at me while the ones beyond melee range just stand there doing nothing.

This is particularly noticeable at the sets crypts in the hallways that spawn skeletons as you approach. Not sure how/why skeletons would trigger dynamic lighting.
