Perfect Two Handed on Caster?

I'm following Strimtom's Basic Sorcerer build and it has the feat "Perfect Two Handed Fighting" at level 22. That seems late in life to worry about melee so I assume there is another reason. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks.
