Pick one or both.

Pick one or both:

  • Total voters
    6
  • Poll closed .

with a consensus.
First you would have to demonstrate
1. That a statistically significant number of the player base uses the forums
2. That a statistically significant number of forum users vote on polls

To declare a consensus.

From my meager observations, neither condition is currently met.
You're a long way from determining a consensus, especially with such a poorly executed poll.

I haven't voted, nor will I vote, because I know Tilomere is only looking to stir up controversy. It's a common pattern with him. Why participate in a poll that's not only not serious, but also attempts to make that word that begins with t?

Both proposals are well-defined by Teh_troll's simple phrase, but they were never a serious proposal. They were simply an attempt to attract attention and stir up controversy. In my opinion, a poor attempt *shrugs*

I don't know English, but I try. Even using Google Translate, the first sentence wasn't clear to me.

Can someone tell me the first option in other words?

Thanks!

@Tilomere -

Exactly which threads are you trying to put to rest with this poll?

There are still people who consider your contributions here valuable. Unfortunately, when you present these false dichotomies and then refuse to engage when your assertions are challenged, it damages your credibility. And when you do this repeatedly, it makes one question your intent.

By the way, I already answered your poll 4 days before you posted it, and am still waiting for your answer.

"You're stating here that because the players did not wish to be further fleeced, they deserve to be further fleeced? Is that something you feel like is a defensible position?"

The goal is to see if there was a disharmony between the actions of how SSG channels charging for power and player feedback.

The poll results is evidence that the actions of the developers are in harmony with player feedback, or in this case, a lack of player feedback on where to channel that charge. AKA, rare loot isn't any better or worse than charging for hearts or other sources of power. As in any poll, not voting is still feedback.

I mean, it is obviously better for players if they weren't charged for the game, or at least it would be until it shut down. But it doesn't seem right to target rare loot over other charges for power like tomes or hearts when no feedback on how to otherwise charge for power is given.

I clearly never said anything about what players deserve in that quote you linked. However, player feedback, including not providing feedback, does drive developer decisions, and as a result the player base's feedback is at least partly responsible for the developed game.

If only there were other ways to monetize. But clearly rare loot or heart seeds are the only possible sources of revenue.

It has to be, it’s in the poll!

You started with a premise that had no foundation, and put up a poll based on this false premise with two bad options as though there were no other logical choice (there are. I presented one in that other thread). And then, when you get no votes, your conclusion is that "the poll results is evidence that the actions of the developers are in harmony with player feedback".

At this point, for your own sake, I hope you're trolling.
