This morning, 🌟Surprised Pikachu🌟 added another supreme accomplishment to the HOA&S (IYKYK).

World First R10 NO CHEESE Hunt or Be Hunted has been completed!

We might've just experienced the worst raid lag in all of DDO. Seriously—this raid is rough for lag. Even when we carefully farmed instances known for being smoother, our first run went exactly how most Hunts do: characters frozen mid-air, rubberbanding like crazy, locked up like Diddy, and then—boom—everyone's dead.

But round two? That was the one. We slowed our DPS, staggered moments out, and somehow pulled off one of the cleanest Hunt runs we’ve ever seen. Grix tried to get a piece, but the rest? Way easier than expected. No wild uber pro strats needed—just solid teamwork and a little patience.

Major props to MADATOR! This dude came through with clutch builds, a smart plan, and straight-up commander-level coordination. Gamers like this are rare in DDO—unless you're lucky enough to be in Pika. 💪


We finished so fast (😏) we rolled right into another one— hitting a raid we hadn’t done on R10 yet. World First R10 DoJ 8-man? Sub-20 minutes? Something? All we know is: it was tougher than Hunt, this raid still holds up.

Decently fun raid to do on R10, very happy I was able to set up/lead/tank this push for us. Completion video will be up soon. Pika superiority, ggez onetap.

Curiosity, you have an armor bar with what looks like a Leather primary and 9 shadow robes. This for a pile of 20 second Shadow Phases? What's it for? Lastly if correct, doesn't it jamb you up for like 4 sec shifting from the shadow robes to whatever your primary armor is if not cloth negating alot of the 20 second benefit.

Looks like a pretty good dedication of inventory for some purpose. And congrats!

If you look closely you'll see that he's an inquis, and therefore only needs 3 buttons, thats actually the same shadowphase armor pulled across multiple hotbar slots to make him feel like a real player with buttons to push

I perma wear robes on sorc to use those clickies. But most of our dps "players" have a robe that matches whatever armor they are wearing that they use when shadow phase is required. So while using shadow phase they wear robes and for everything else have light/med/heavy.

Getting somewhere! Looks like 9 min of Shadow Phase….when is it Required and how is it useful to you? It’s a toy I’ve never explored and seeing some resources dedicated to it surprised me and has me asking.

Intrigued enough to pull my outfit from bank and play with it a little. 7 sec switching from robe to leather, not my guessed 4 so robe to robe mandatory. You can chain them as the reset is only like 3 sec. so can live in shadowphase

Didn’t take it into combat though to see if it make you unhittable or some such.

Maybe go make yourself a shadowphase clickie and see where you could use it? I have 3 outfits on me at all times, even standing on the boat, for the last 5 years? Not everyone in the raid was as mental as the videographer, I might have had 5 sets.

It’s weird you’re fixated on it, it’s like you’re seeing jibs for the first time.

Solo guild and bumping into clever ideas I didn’t have is the primary reason to engage in the forums for me.

This looked like you considered it a clever idea, so I asked for a clear answer. Asked three times, and will move on not haven gotten it.

Off it experiment to discover what you already know.
