Pink Glob of Slime

Apparently, the pink slime in the pit is incorrectly in the normal loot tables and won't drop for high level characters because of the gigantic over level penalty.

Can anyone confirm if this is the case or not and has SSG acknowledge the error if it exists?

First time hearing of an over-level loot penalty. Afaik the only penalty is the inability to run reaper.

I got the glob of slime from the pit with a level 36 character running Heroic Elite.

Yeah I don't know what the OP is talking about, as every Pink Globe of Slime I, or people in my group, have acquired has been running The Pit on an endgame toon (levels 34-36) at Elite difficulty. The globes don't drop on every chest open, so you my have to re-roll it or re-run it, but yeah, I've never seen a single issue for anyone running over-level and failing to qualify to get one.

I pulled the globe from The Pit on Elite, using a capped character. Note, it is the new chest off to the left, NOT the Muck's Doom chest.

Make sure you're looting the chest on the left. I stupidly wasted like 100 shards re rolling the chest on the right. Found it on my capped main on heroic elite so I haven't heard of this penalty youre speaking of.

Pulled many for guildies on my 36lvl running HE. Again chest on the left that isnt usually there.
