Wish they would plan out all the Bonus Days and Sales ahead of time and post them on the forums weeks in advance, so we could actually make time for these things instead of scrambling around at the last second to try to make something of it or wait to buy something because it's on sale in two weeks or whatever.

I (and other people) have suggested an in-game calendar before. Centralising information about upcoming bonuses, sales, other stuff like that would be a great convenience for players so we don't have to check multiple media.

Unfortunately it'll probably never happen because the company would rather have engagement on all of its various sites than make things easier for its customers.

They dont want to create a situation where players that it is better to play/buy at a later point instead of right now.

SSG actually does this for LOTRO. At the start of the year all the bonuses are published with their exact start and end time/date. In addition the calendar also shows the dates for various events/festivals happening in the coming year. So the capability for DDO is there, but this dev team chooses to just make sh!t up on the fly without any forethought or effort.
