Please help me fix this wizard/warlock/artificer mess

After a long break I have this character, which seems to have a complicated build and actual money sunk into it.

I can't work out if it I knew what i was doing when i made it, but it's way over my head now. I'm going to stick to single class builds in future so i can parse them and also fix them more easily :p

It seems the intent was to have single target damage with SWF while having warlock and wizard auras doing AOE like Strim's "arti-bardi-warlock" but it also seems I picked clashing and suboptimal ways to do it in the persuit of "all the skills".

I have a heart of wood +3, presumably a freebie from some rebalancing pass. I don't actually know the order i took the class levels, but this is an order in which the builder would let me pick the feats i have.

I've had some nice pointers from the Strim and Khyber Discords (suggestions for Wiz12, another arti for rune arm though i seem to remember those being frustrating to find, being pointed at feigned health and taint the aura, being warned EK will clash with Warlock Aura) but i think i really need to be spoonfed if folk are willing to spell out a more explicit level/feat/enhancement order from here, please.

When you use one of the free lesser hearts for the level 1 arty and human bonus feat take Dodge and Mobility instead. Start with max INT and 16 DEX.

Also IMO you're wasting feats with metamajics and in turn will waste Enhancement points to boost them that can be better spent elsewheres.

BTW you probably took the 1 level arty for rune arm use, which requires 2 levels of arty.

You just need to resolve the minor conflict between PM and Pact of the Abyss. It's not a big deal because both of those things do what you want to do.

I *think* that PM is better than Warlock at doing what you are trying to do but it is arguable either way.

It just has the one past life and i think the arti was traps/doors for more soloing... but the rune arm has been mentioned by many now so perhaps it *should* become a reason.

So focus on the defences since the pulsing AOE should be 'good enough'?

Do you mean conflict in terms of using resources in two places for the same thing, rather than like how EK clashes with warlock aura?

If i end up hating how it plays i do have the points for that, so i'll keep that last resort in mind.

In my opinion yes. Also we have new Enhancement Tree/combos to chose from.

In addition, I would use the skeleton to a point and then repec. my Enhancements at later levels. Although I feel metamajics are meh, you might want to consider keeping Heighten in your build if you're going to work Necromancy, i.e. Finger of Death. I like to take the Enhancement SLA from Tier 5 in Soul Eater. FoD is allot of fun in the repertoire. My favorite hotkey!

I'm a hoarder, but I also eat rune arms for Sentient XP. Depending on the server I might have some I can give you. While on this topic acid warlock is also fun. These rune arms are somewhat easy to get and I farm them for Sentient XP when I'm about to open a new slot, https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Corruption_of_Nature.

One thing you could possibly do is focus on the DCs from your Eldritch attacks changing out quicken spell for spell focus and taking arch mage enhancements to further enhance that school. You would lose some pact dice keeping wizard but your DCs would be pretty boss. Alternatively/simultaneously you could add weapon imbues from Eldritch knight to coincide Aura. (Which I think was your thinking, melee based warlock)

FYI you can sorta reverse-engineer your build by talking to Fred. When you pick a feat to swap, he'll list what level you took it at and what your class split was at the time.

I would use the +3 Heart of Wood to switch to wizard 15 / warlock 3 / Artificer 2: SWF + Runearm Eldritch Knight which can either TR when it hits 20 or LR +5 into pure wizard.
