Khyber seems largely unaffected. Also thanks to the previous poster showing that we have awesome cat emotes. 😺

Well I guess it is all relative.
I'm not angry and have no complaints about SSG's response to an issue that doesn't really affect me.
That is not to say I don't have complaints, cause I do and cancelled my VIP last month, but not related to lag or response to it.

I play on Thelanis and Argo.
On Thelanis I hardly notice any lag, but if I do it is minor and doesn't affect my game play.
On Argo I get some lag maybe a few times a week, but rarely worth complaining about.
If I wait a few minutes it clears up. 🐈🐱🐈

Argo has been fantastic since many of the end game guilds left for orien!
Orien is the largest and laggiest of all instances...just take it down for a week and bring it back as a 64-bit. The best outcome is everyone wins, the worst is you need to back it out...but it's better than what we have now.

Although, I've convinced myself the Orien performance is intentional in order to drive folks to Cormyr, the timing is just to perfect & Cormyr was/is lightly attended...this is a marketing gimmick, no doubt.

I don't think they can just make the current server 64 bit..

I mean, they could just transfer everything across, it's copying database entries from one blade to another. Maybe there's read/write interactions that don't work between server software versions? But then, how else do character transfers work.

They might have had more participation if it wasnt locked behind the lamannia download

Argo has horrible spikes of unplayability. But as for the poll of how angry am I? I'm neither happy nor angry, I've started moving past that towards indifference & ambivalence.
That must be just in end game raiding or at cap R10’s.

EXTREME MV Permadeath has spotty moments of a lag spike here and there but nothing serious enough to be concerned about.

No. My 1st lifer running around in elites has seen plenty of lag issues. SSG has even commented about seeing reports captured by their detection systems of issues on Argo. It's everywhere and across all servers as far as the various things I've heard. But sure, keep trying to sell your permadeath guild as the solution to lag issues.

I'm guessing if it was that easy they would have done it already.

It's honestly kind of amazing the game is still functional at all. When they designed this back in 2005 they probably couldn't even begin to dream this game would still be going 18 years later. With all the stuff different teams have been adding over the years it's got to look like a mess of code behind the scenes.

I'm hoping the 64-bit server technology helps clean things up.

What I really want them to work on is guild transfer technology. Me and my friend would love to transfer over to the 64-bit server, but it would mean leaving our guild behind which we have worked hard over the years to build up. We took it from lvl 64 to 141 now. We are hoping to hit 150 when we turn in our sagas before reincarnating. Until they come up with a way to transfer guilds we are staying on Sarlona.

We have being growing rapidly since the release of MD and the current lag issues that highly impact end game raiding and R10’s at cap.

Mostly new members are burned out with end game so we are happy to have the new membership. You are welcome to join us anytime.

I hear what you're saying, but..

Randall Lyric missing from MD
Still no Lv 34 cannith crafting
Raid not even having a quest name for LFM population (tbf fixed *after* released)

I would honestly be surprised if they do any work into guild transfers.

And being able to transfer will likely be well into next year. I believe Tolero was hinting that official Cormyr may be end of this year, so that's fresh start & no transfers to test the waters for probably 3 months or more.

Gets quite old, eh? Their boyfriend gave them the salesman role. It’s just like the worst version of door to door sales.

In response to the poll though, I’m annoyed. But just simply not playing the game like I used to. There is no enjoyment in this game anymore with the current state. Actually I’m kind of thankful for it, I’ve found a few different games to play if I want to.
