Yeah 15/ is pointless if you're not using the other 5 levels to get access to premium T5s like DLord

The problem is you just dont have any AP left to augment the build concept. ~35 RS, ~23 SF, 13 SD only leaves you 9 points, so yeah 18/1 monk/1 fvs seems like the play there. 4 warsoul for trance, 4 henshin for core and 15% speed, 1 shintao for the hamp/pos, and just accept that haste boost is the odd piece out.
Her thoughts were not investing in sacred fist at all, but using those points in the monk trees? Her build isnt about dps…she wants to run fast, have the aura, and use qstaves. However, still trying to maximize what dps potential she has left with those requirements. Its more like 32/13 for the ap split.

Bro Im tryin…. 🤣

IIRC the Radiant Servant Pos Energy Aura is not a "permanent" aura like for instance a Dragon Lord aura. Its like a spell like effect. Worth mentioning if you think its a fire and forget.

Well you mentioned the 'light add on' for Ki spells and that's in T4 Sac Fist. But you could drop that down if you wanted to pick up Haste from VKF instead. You'll definitely want at least T3 for WWA and Ex Smite

So, my wife plays with me about 20% of the time I play. She likes tabaxi/trailblazer stick builds and she likes to hit things with a stick. However, I need her to help keep me alive while I literally do everything else. :D We've been trying to come up with something she enjoys playing, while limiting the "effort" required to help contribute doing anything but mindless DPS. We were thinking of a 14/4/2 SF stick build using tier 5 RS tree, Tier 4 ES tree and picking up haste and trance from FVS. Remaining points (not many) in SF. Destiny will probably be Flowers as a main. I know the dps will be "not great" but the healing from RS and the automatic temp hp from 4 levels of lock every 5 seconds from her will be great at a mindless contribution while she hits things. lol What are your thoughts on a build like this? Worthless or worth a shot?
Just a thought: monks can heal :)

The warlock 4 splash is a total dud...we tried it, it sucked pretty bad.
I really like the idea of a paladin + warlock aura build. Years ago I used to run a 15/5 pally / warlock build I called The Anti-Paladin that was terrible for numbers but had amazing flavor. Back before the modern paladin enhancement redo kicked off the current era of DDO, I was after the ES aura and T5 hitpoints. It was terrible but a lot of fun.

Naturally, I've been trying to do it again. I think the solution might be 15 SF / 3 monk / 2 Warlock. You could also argue for 15/4/1. 3 (or 4) monk gives stances and the WIS trance. 15 SF does most of the heavy lifting. 2 (or 1) warlock gives the fun pulsing ES aura.) Ninja spy gives you centered with shortswords. 3 points in Feydark gives unbreakable shortswords.

If you want to just go in for non-centered with THF, 15 paladin, 4 Warlock, 1 whatever (probably FVS or whatever iconic you came in with)). T4 in enlightened spirit gives that pulsing aura and the cleaves, T5 KotC + holysword. Load up on radiant spell power and imbue dice and go to town. The other way to do it is 15 melee Cleric with War domain and T5 warpriest, then T4 ES for the cleaves and imbues. Load up on radiant SP, cleave it all to hell.

Hey, thank you! She's currently playing the SF/Warlock/FvS build and loving it, but the part she likes the most is the Radiant Aura...so she is going to TR into 18/1/1 SF/Monk/FvS and I'm going to play something that ticks Temp HP, probably my 13/5/2 Bard/DL/Rogue build.

I've considered trying to do a THF of Warchanter though, probably a 15/5 Warchanter/DL...but I'm still working out the details of race and whatnot. I love half orcs, and could use falchions, or go PDK and use greatswords, but idk yet...
