Post 70.1 Lag - feels good?

I don't know if it was whatever fix was done, killing the halloween event or what - but the game has been far, far better to play after this patch than it was before the patch.

Can pull more mobs and deal with it, no weird lag spike / lag loops in a Threads raid I did around US primetimes yesterday (on Khyber) and could keep pressing my buttons with no problems the whole raid through. During heroic leveling getting mobbed by kobolds caused no lag whatsoever and it feels more like the DDO from pre-MD. That being said, it was a caster heavy raid group which could contribute to less lag. Red Alert was not a death sentence to the run - we could actually play around it.

How has it been for others?

Have read guildies had a very smooth allmost lag free run at peak hours
I tried to crack my GMB r10 record at 9am EST and it was laggy but not freeze laggy idk
basically in a state of "id prefer less lag but im fine to run a whole saga with this lag "

Played for roughly nine hours on 11/15 and only had a bit of spotty lag in immortality lessons. The rest of the time if there was lag it was barely noticeable.

Night Revels always blows up lag because there is always at least one quest designed to imperfectly invisi-run.

Hayweird Foundry is the poster boy for that one this time around. Kill a few spawns, invis and run like hell until you have to fight again at the end.

I was frozen in place several times in Two Toed Tobias last night. I checked afterwards: Night Revels was definitely off.

Yeah I'm not saying it's all perfect sunshine and rainbows, but it feels noticeably better so figured I'd ask if it's been going elsewhere or if psychosis struck. Before, could never do the Threats Mari fight without at least some problems.

Yesterday I had very few and very short lag. It was neglectable.
But today morning I logged on my alt and and first I had a failure in the launcher.
One more try, I was able to log in without problems, but...
had to wait 5 minutes till every buff, hotbars, equipments, social tabs, etc were loaded in.
First I thought I was kicked out of my guild because in the social tab/guild I wasnt part of any guild, only option was create a new one.
For 2 mins my goggle and one of my raid ring did not appear. I thought the program just deleted it.
Wasnt able to examine my own character.
Very slowly step by step everything was loaded but have never experienced something like this before. The game was fluent after this btw.

It's a pulsing lag that shows up every few minutes for a short stay of maybe 10-15 seconds of nothing happening. I'm going to put a timer on the interval next time I run Lords of Dust. I know exactly how that one should run and the pulses will be instantly obvious.

I don't think it's a periodic effect because I'd be getting twinges beforehand by now if it were.

The lag is a bad as it has ever been. Just died on the 64 bit server due to a large lag spike freezing the game for approx 1 min, all while a mist was spawning in.

The lag seems a little better here, especially in the early am est. However I have had a few frozen in place lags, and for some reason yesterday, I had a heck of a time logging into the game. Had to exit the process 3 or 4 times to be able to play. Just sat there and did nothing. I checked my internet and it was working fine so it wasnt that.

Seems like normal adventure time to me. Meaning it was pretty smooth. No pucker factor so that's a step in the right direction. I'm going to pop in around 5 p.m. (on Argo) west coast time because I think that will be more or less prime time for all peeps (in the US at least). Cormyr was buttery smooth today.

On the other hand, Sarlona is super laggy, freezes are constant with occasional smooth play, but soon goes back to unplayable.

Yes. I too died today freezing in the greymoon trap with my reaper skull lantern.
Not cool.
But well, it would not be a real DDO HC challenge if there is lagfree environment.

Meh. Until just now I was okay with it, but...now its Saturday, and the lag is getting BAD at this point today. So my opinion is that they had no major issues right after because fewer people are on during the week. But now? I've been getting kicked off chat, yellow lag warning, so I'm not convinced they fixed anything, was just fewer people.
