Prize Pigs is a radio industry term for people who call in, try to win every contest. In DDO terms, I would apply it to people who log into every server every day / week to make their silver and gold rolls. Now that we are condensing, I decided to make the tour, and see what toons I have and where. Most are all lv 1-2 and from 2008 era. Process is tedious, but I'm making the rolls this morning, in case I get something good I can bring back to my Main.

How many of you make the free rolls every day on how many servers? Every week? Curious if SSG can track, or has a metric for how many rolls are made every day?

It depends on how much I'm playing. If I'm playing every day, I roll the silver on my lowest level alt. If I'm taking time away like now, I try to remember to grab the weekly gold and then I'll do the silver also, but I do frequently forget to grab them. I pretty much never grab them on other servers because I'm just not that dedicated these days to the game. The only exception is I rolled up a character on Cormyr for the daily gold and I have about a 75% success rate at remembering to get that one.

I have a least one toon on every server, mostly from characters I transferred from Hardcore seasons or did the favor/DDO point run, and I can't say I logon every day but yeah they each have a large collection of previous dice rolls in storage.
I have made the rotation a few times this week and made rolls anticipating the convergence. Just silver rolls for me ATM but I'm surprised how many high rolls and XP pots\tomes I have gotten. Feeling Lucky...

I play weekly on Thelanis and Argo and planning to migrate to both Thrane and Shadowdale in the transfer; with a #$&!ton of XP stones to boot. :)

I have a toon on each server because early favor rewards were a thing I wanted.
I don't visit those places anymore, and probably won't transfer the characters over.

I roll on Cormyr, due to daily gold rolls. I don't bother with the weeklies on other servers, though, that becomes too much of a hassle for me.

I just made it a weekly thing I do on sat mornings. It really only takes me 10-15 min total, unless I get distracted. I've got one toon on every server and I've been rolling golds every week, on every server, ever since there was rumor of another server transfer via opening new servers. I've accumulated 100's of xp/slayer pots and elixirs along with all the other goodies that come with the gold rolls. I'm grateful I get another chance at getting all that stuff in one place again. Thank you SSG for the extra slots! Yup, I'm a pig....Oink! Oink!

I do a silver roll every day on my main server, even if I am not currently playing the game. Other than that, I do no other rolls. I never log in to roll on non-main servers.

I did that when vips had the year of gold rolls Then, with the free transfers to orien, I got a bunch O stuff from them consolidated on my main server. That's why I think the idea that daily gold rolls were "fiscally irresponsible" is ridiculous lol. Bunch of bigbys hands, non-200% slayer pots, some cosmetics, some tomes. NONE of which I would have bought otherwise. The crap slayer pots went to my alt, but I have a +8 supreme tome on the 3-4 people I actually care about. So the tomes were wasted. Cosmetics are unnecessary, and again, would've never actually PAID for one.

Even with the bigby price reduction, I'm never paying pts for any lol. It should really be a basic feat to throw one down. Or, since a dev said they couldn't get it to work with a feat, a clicky item like jibbers. Just give it a cooldown. Maybe give 3-4 different colors in case someone really needs to put multiple down.

Sounds like it would make a good character name.

How do I learn this sorcery?
I think they are just leveling with dice rolls. They almost certainly are or were VIP as leveling a character to 20 using only silver dice rolls would take an incredible number of years. Gold dice rolls, on the other hand, are worth huge amounts of experience and can level a character in a reasonable amount of time.

Yes, back when VIP was a thing. For my Snowy project, I ran quests as far as they would give XPs for. Still ran a few rares for... was it 5 XP per. Something like that. Then went just Dice rolls the rest of the way. Only bought a few extra rolls on Double-XP weekends.

But now that you mention it, tho... 20 on Snowy, Silver rolls only. *Pauses to contemplate* Naw, even I'm not that far over the edge. Maybe.

I made a couple characters on my main server many years ago to do 100 point favor runs and ended up keeping them as mules. Since they are fighters (which was easy to do the favor run, but is not a class I want to play), I have been using my silver rolls to level them. It has taken many, many years to get one of them up to level 14. I'll keep at it until they are 20, but only because I have no use for dice roll exp (I find myself throwing exp away every life just by running the quests on my main, so I don't use any dice experience on my main character).
