Through the grape vine I've received some troubling news about fellow DDO twitch streamer, Puft_the_Bear aka Staypuft.
Those closest to him have created a go fund me page with the latest update on his health. Link to their Go Fund Me page
In attempt to raise awareness and spread the word of this unfortunate turn of events. I wished to help by sharing the story/update from Falkyron on Puft's Discord:
"As some of you know, he has been in a coma for some time awaiting a transplant. Although he has been stable, it has been too long. Having been in the coma and on a machine which filtered CO2 out of his blood, his lungs and muscles both have atrophied. Specialists consulted and deliberated, determining that he is no longer able to survive the lung transplant necessary to save his life. Staypuft's condition is now terminal.
I will be flying out to see him in person to speak with him. Although he is in a coma, he has been responding to voices and it is likely he can hear what is said to him. If any of you wish to speak with him directly via a group call, or want a message delivered, you should send so to me in a private message. It is likely you will speak to him quite late at night if you wish to directly. What people don't know is that his mother has spent all this time effectively handling the direct burden alone, that it happened to her in the middle of a move interstate, and that Devan is an organ donor who will save many lives thanks to her diligence. I have set up a GoFundMe for those wanting to ease her burdens and give tribute to her.
