I totally forgot the addition of patience Last time I ran a thrower that feat didnt exist yet? and I could just remember how i eventually rolled a quickdraw augment just for it to not make a difference

You clearly not have enough/good experience with throwers build, sorry. +2 passive Ki gen absolutely not enough for s-tier (in your words) shuri builds. You don't have enough for many needed Ki abilities, it's why currently such builds locked into GoMF. You may not believe me and even call me a hater, but it's just fact. Ask any experienced shuri-monk, @SpartanKiller13 or @Bjond, for example. You mandatory need Ki bolt, Cauldron, Shadow double and WIS trance if you don't go in HW (and HW is heavy suboptimal for non-bow builds). With only +2 passive Ki regen you can spam only 10k Stars, it's all.

You can play a Shuri with +2 passive Ki gen (getting SD's SA dice is nice) but now there's Shadow Double I don't think it's worth (I was using HW trance and not running Cauldron, for instance). Also wasn't using Ki Bolt, I've already had my share of shenanigans with it XD

60 or even 80 (if you have augment) just not enough, and you need more even for solo to not steal aggro from your own Target Dummy. And you need it early, not at lvl26 when you can take second threat reduction from Shiradi tree and not at lvl30 when you can slot augment.

-95% is the least I would recommend, but with big DPS builds (which Shuri can be) I'd be aiming for at least -100% ideally. Pre-Monk update I had Shi/FS/SD & Occultation for -115% universally, and it was amazing - I'd only pull when I hit Intim (which I max on every character and have LGS + Bitterwind swaps for).

You have 1st life toon with only 12 base CON build and you suggest take IAF over Self Defense?! Oh, man... Should i remind you that Soul Stone does not do any damage? Seems you greatly overestimated IAF, especially in solo play. You don't need IAF for trash mobs, they die before you can get meaningful amount stacks, and you cannot use it for boss fight (exclude epic moment, and it's only for lvl 30+) because you cannot stay motionless in one place or... ding! You is Soulstone now!
Titan's Blood is nice, but you need stay alive before lvl34, you know? 8)
Of course, if you build for pure raid toon only, with dedicated good tank in group, then IAF really good. Other way - not so good as you possible think.
Anyway, how many HP your toon have?

SD is the clear winner most of the time, esp without Hunter's Focus - otherwise you have to stand in place for >18s before you can even use IAF. With Hunter's Focus there is some argument, but still...

I grabbed a bunch of survivability stuff on mine for a raid toon and still went SD - I ended up over 4k in reaper, which was very very nice for surviving random BS. IAF worth considering but we were pushing and I spent quite a bit of time zooming around lol.

Improved Martial Art provide 0.5 W, Combat Archery - 1W +2% Dodge. Why you take IMA 1st?

Personally I took neither of these, 1.5[w] when it's d2+2 (avg 3.5, so 5.25 for two feats) just doesn't seem worth. Vs durability stuff etc

YMMV obviously, and CA > IMA for sure (although IMA is better if you're just going to TR at cap lol).

im looking for a build to solo casual quests on a full comp toon. this looks like a good build given its from the creator of the "s tier monk thrower"

+2 Ki gen is only going to be around 20 ki/minute. You can only upkeep 10k stars, nothing else with this. I have thoroughly tested this and can say this agrees with many yeas of playing shuri. With the gmof clicky, you get ~ 85 ki/min (at a dps loss over other ED's). This means you can use 10k stars once, and either shadow double twice or abundant step a few (at most 6) times. The issue with the monk changes for shuri is that ki generation was always a massive issue for ranged, and nothing was added to help that issue. The issue was then made worse by giving some of the power we lost (from t5 HW for example) behind ki.
