I know I picked this build up from somewhere here and don't remember if I changed anything in it. So I'm not taking credit for this one. So far I've run her to 12 and she seems pretty solid. So Thanks to the original designer of this build. I may do a TR on her eventually when get to that point and figured that part out and run her as a Tiefling then. She can be found on Cormyr if ever interested in teaming up with her.

I have created a Sorc however with low str as I would go for Eldritch Accuracy: You get Charisma to hit with weapons and shield bashes.

It is however in tier 3, which needs some points spend in order to get to it.

But the points saved on str is used in Charisma instead giving more SPs. So as lvl 4, I had 19 Char, 14 Con, 14 int (mostly for spot and find hidden areas. But that is me satisfying my OCD)

I don't understand why you have such a high str.

I also don't particularly find a use for force of personality.

other than that Build looks okay

I think the stats are mostly from the build as I found it as well as the feats. the only mods I may have made were probably in the enhancement trees other than maybe setting all the stats to a minimum of 10 to start. Yeah I probably should have dumped three of those str points and stuck them into cha. May do that if she has a heart of wood on her. As far as force of personality, I'm sure it was part of the original build and looking at it, it does boost her will saves and I don't see anything else in the feats that provide any better benefit other than Swords to plowshares or light armor proviciency if that will even work maybe moving it further down the line and move the metamagics and mental toughness line up one.

ya. ok fop has a purpose and its mostly for newer people like you. most will spells are negated by a combo of pro evil and fom.

i apologize about not responding with suggestions. i have made them in the past to people and gotten yelled at.

off the top of my head - sf enchant and gsf enchant help a lot. or necro. for lower lives i prefer enchant.

for your epic feats - take epic spell focus evo at 22. take spell spec enchant/necro at 31

i dont think you will like hellball. i would take a 2nd epic spell power here for more crit stuff.

Thanks. Unlike most people I'm not gonna yell... and yeah I am pretty new to this. as far as the epic feat suggestions for 22 and 31 they're not showing up in the builder (Builder V2) but otherwise I'm editing the OP with the new build plan. She's currently 16. I did a respec to give her one more base CHA. I know most people would say drop the Str, Dex, Wis to max Cha but I'm not a fan of taking negative bonuses to any of the stats though on some builds I will do it but this is not one of those. Wile it's true that the negatives can be fixed with gear I was having trouble getting Wis gear on a Pal that I started with too low Wis to cast her spells to the point of considering getting a wis tome on her.

Mind if I make some suggestions?

Starting Stats:
Charisma should be your top priority, as it affects your spell DCs and spell points. Unless you plan to melee and rely on Strength for hit and damage, consider dropping points from Strength and investing those into CHA instead. For a Human Sorcerer, aim for starting CHA 18.

Feats and Progression:

Level 6:
Instead of taking Quicken at 6, consider delaying it. Sorcerers naturally cast quickly, and early on, the spells that truly benefit from Quicken (like Meteor Swarm or Otto’s Dancing Sphere) are not yet available. Suggestion: Take Empower instead, which will increase the damage of your Spell Like Abilities.

Level 12:
Take Mental Toughness.

Level 15:
Taking Greater Mental Toughness.

Level 18:
Take Quicken Spell here instead of earlier.

Level 24:
Burst of Glacial Wrath is good if you’re running an ice-based nuker. However, if you’re primarily fire-based, consider Epic Spell Focus: Evocation instead for better DCs and unlock access to the Destiny Feats Spell Specialty later.

Level 25:
Hellball is currently not very strong in the meta. Suggestion: Replace with Crush Weakness if you frequently use Hold Monster Mass at endgame. Otherwise, you can take a second Epic Spellpower of your choice.

Level 31:
Epic Mage Armor is not the best use of a feat slot for many Sorcs. If you took Epic Spell Focus: Evocation, you unlock Spell Specialty feats. Suggestion: Take Spell Specialty: Enchantment for better DCs and crowd control, especially useful on a first life Sorcerer.

Level 34:
Because you take Core 6 in Fire Savant, your fire spells strip fire immunity from monsters. I would suggest taking Titan's Blood here for 10% more HP if you aren't getting it from gear (Legendary Greentsteel or the shields from Myth Drannor; you likely won't have these items if you're new).

Thanks for the suggestions. Everything you suggested below 20 had already been done just not in your recommended order. She is currently 16 and will be getting Empower at 18 so no real changed there... The rest I put into the plan now.

Did my first caster (a fire sorc) a couple of weeks ago after looking and testing a couple of thing using most of the thing Epicsoul suggest can confirm work great even on a first life toon like mine. The only thing i splash a little bit with air savant because i also use some electric spells (not needed at all because you strip immunities with elemental form, but i like some of them).

Improved mental toughness can be change with another metamagic feat if you have enough SP, that will depend a lot of what content you'll run (for raids you'll really need huge sp pool, but not a bad idea to just use another toon lol)

not horrible. master of fire is bad.

warding is only ok. i would go esp force or acid

i like ruin and gruin if going t5 drac

Why force or acid? I only have one acid spell taken and I rarely use it. I have no force spells loaded other than a force missile wand that recharges.
Master of fire is good for what I'm casting... Mostly fireball, burning hands and scorch along with DB Fireball and wall of flame. The only thing I use outside of fire is Necrotic Ray.

  • +20 Spell Power of the selected type.
  • +10% spell critical damage with the selected type.
  • +5% universal types of spell critical damage.
its the additional spell crit damage why people take it

i suggest force as that helps with metor and ruins if you take them
