Cool esthetics in this quest. Some feedback I would like to give on this quest. Did it on heroic
  • Worm AI is wonky at times. Some will B-Line to me and others will stay. Had to double back several times in the quest just to open the barriers to progress
  • Having to back track to Stonk felt a little awkward. Would be nice to see to see the barriers moved around a bit to streamline this.
  • End Fight should start as you jump in. Had to run around the area to 'start' the fight
  • XP is very poor for this quest for how long in both duration and how many creatures you have to kill.

also missed the ddoor and when i went back i forgot to talk to him so the quest was not completed when i secured the egg and got the chest. Overall super fun quest the worm fights were interesting and allowed for some strategy. Long quests would like to see the exp amounts bumped up but that feeling could be from getting side tracked

Probably the weak link of the 5 preview quests this time around. It is close to being a linear corridor that requires killing everything along the way to unlock the path. Given that purple worms love to burrow and how heavily this quest features purple worms, that can get... tedious.

I don't work for SSG- I pay their bills.
Decent quest, no real suggestions. Other than the worms constant burrowing is a bit annoying, but manageable.

Hopefully the purple worms don't get stuck underground like what happens in "In the Belly of the Beast" on occasion, where it bugs the quest.

- Was bit bland.
- Found 1 opt. Augs in opts good incentive. :)
- Quest functioned ok. No noticeable bugs for me, as I seemed to follow the SSG preferred path I guess? That said, Bullette was bit slow to spawn out of nowhere and didn't really make sense showing up at that point after being told by npc you have clear path after offering treat through well.
- Collectables dropped in bag correctly.
- End Chest - Usual loot and a Solar aug Missile Defl. 10%. Nice :)

This felt too predictable for me and repetitive. Something you might see in free to play content releases. You guys can do much better I believe and can add some surprises and optionals that make the quest feel fulsome. Hope the worms don’t bug underground as happens in current content. Long hallways and worms why not add some columns with switches you need to deploy to open the barriers? Yes this mechanic has been used previously but it adds the sort of challenge that makes the game more interesting and would help overcome the possibility of bugging out if you don’t kill absolutely all of them because they are stuck in the floor. The main boss’ initial appearance was short and sort of buggy so it wasn’t clear if I was supposed to jump down and then it was hard to find the blocked cave entrance. It was a little confusing as it looked like I’d be stuck down there once I went down. Maybe the worm actually knocks you down there? That would be fun.

There was a ddoor that appeared to get back to him.
I didn't see this pop up. Managed to get to the egg and realized I still had a mission goal and no way to get to it (besides DD at the end).

This map felt overly linear?

-edit- just ran it again and yeah... dimension door was there. This was a pretty clean run with no issues and was able to complete everything.
Missing the DD though will kinda break things (if you run onto the worm lair and not Stonk).

The drop to the end boss and seeing the massive Bulette was pretty cool. This quest could probably stand to have some more environmental hazards. Acid jets and stuff. Make it more dynamic and interesting.

Overall, fine.

I'm wondering if you could put something like umber hulks that comes crashing through walls? Something to break up the line of critters you have to kill.

Or maybe some scripted scene wheres underdark critters or miners are fighting demons as you chance upon them (umber hulks crashing through walls and tearing into demons even!)

First part of the quest (Retrieve a Package) is rather bland. Some story, with an orange named adversary boss at the end, would have helped add a bit colar.
Once past the two dozen carrion crawlers and slime, one then encounters what should be described as a "monotonous" run of 30 or so Purple Worm larvas ... left-right, left-right, left-right. Some variety would have been nice. Being able to move through earth, why do they insist on coming up from below? Why not from above or from the sides. And some other monsters (Underdark Beetles) underfoot might broken the monotony. Just a little constructive criticism here.
For the end battle in the "nursury", it felt as if the little tykes didn't contribute much to the challenge.
