Quest Speedrun Records

The Best
This was a few years ago and not very impressive, I know... the trap probably slowed me down too, but I'm in for the participation trophy.
I know I'm not the fastest already anyhow 'cause I'm always a few steps behind the party in LFMs - and I'm okay with that.

I'm also a little OCD about leaving stragglers running after me so I'll swing back around and smite that last fanatic with 1 hp left ...
I can't run past a collectable either, even if it's down a side corridor, up a ladder, off the beaten path and out of sight.

I would honestly want to see the speed records for cartamon's second quest and stealthy repo!

Tomb of tormented would be interesting too.

One of my favorite mini games in ddo is seeing how fast I can go from 1-20 for racials. I keep a spreadsheet tab on every life. It details the quests i run, the time it takes and the pot time used (as this will be greater than actual quest time if you run through the wilderness). I've mapped out all of the quests i run and know how long it should take to solo.

If I get lucky enough to have 2 more experienced players that also like to zerg, it def helps when we all split to break boxes, do traps, and run to the end. This for me is super fun as i am a bit of Spreadsheet nerd.

The best part is learning where I can substitute different quests to speed up my times. Over the years, I've learned which quests are good xp vs. which are good xp/min.

So real life sports are not player vs player? I don't believe you've watched a single sporting event in your entire life if that is your conclusion.
I must have been unclear or communicated poorly. I think competition among "non-pvp" is perfectly viable and my post was meant as an argument against people who say there can't be p2w and there is no reason for competitiveness in DDO cuz there's no PvP - I think DDO is absolutely littered with p2w elements and just because there is no direct pvp is no argument against it.

My conclusion is the opposite: anything is "PvP" if you turn it into a match or competition - even if there is no direct facing off against others on a board or field.

Edit: ***. how do you take that read from my post anyway

Are we posting our records for stuff? I ran BoB in 85 seconds as a favored soul on epic reaper 1 years and years ago. Still haven't beaten it (nor really tried too), but think a barb, monk or dragonlord could do it faster.

long live ROGUE
Anyone here remember the Cannith Challenges leaderboards? I do not recall the time period and when they got disabled. I think they were up until 2012 or so?

Speedrunning is one challenge—only a few folks were able to complete my ROGUE Quatre stealth challenge. Working on #5…

Hello, I am the moderator for the speedrun ddo page. I saw that the page's moderators had not been online for multiple years around a year or so ago, so I applied on there and became moderator. I'm not super active on there, but I do try to check if anyone's submitted any runs every now and then. I would be happy to include any categories on the speedrun site for anyone that wanted to submit official speedruns, easiest way would be to just message me on there and I'd add them as people suggest.

When I play ddo, I tend to play with a speedrunner's mentality, I like recording my times for the game and competing against myself and my buddy that I play with to see if we can bring our quest times down. Seeing that there is at least some interest in some sort of leaderboard for ddo quest completion times and seeing that I probably am one of the few who is able to more easily implement something like this (because I already track this stuff for myself), I decided to make a google form and spreadsheet that hopefully does what people are looking for. They can be found on This forum post that I made

So I'm not on the forums much and just saw that I got tagged. But here is the mentioned thread for the Crucible speed run contest from last year if anyone wanted a reference on the rules around it(and to see some of the impressive times people turned in).

Funny enough, I checked the results against the spreadsheet and the best time for Crucible is only 6 seconds faster than the contest winner with restrictions on gear and no past lives.
