Quiver of Alacrity

I happened to take a few years off during the time the quiver of alacrity was available as an anniversary gift. I really want one, but cannot convince anyone to run ascension chamber (the raid where it drops) with me. Is there any hope of making the quiver available some other way? In other quests? another anniversary gift? Purchase in the store? Or maybe make Ascension Chamber a desirable raid again somehow? Thanks!

Ascension chamber is weird in that, there's almost as much deaths running it at level as there is at cap lol. On Orien they used to have 2/week runs but not sure if they still do. Your best bet is to ask in your server's discord, if they have it, or on the server's page here on the fourms and find a discord heh.

It's available as a reward from the 15th anniversary token. About 18 months ago, SSG gave out that token to people that had missed it. Maybe it'll happen again in the future.

No one flags for Ascension Chamber anymore because most people that want a quiver have it, and it's a royal pain to flag for it. A couple of people in my guild wanted a quiver for alts or new accounts and basically farmed it out every three days until everyone got one. So you might have some success if you form up something similarly on your server.

Perma-flag an alt and leave them parked at cap. Post LFMs on them when bored; ideally have a stack of raid timers so you can farm it until the chest is ransacked if others stick around. Rinse/repeat until it either it drops or you get it off a 20th loot list.

With new ED-system, Ascension Chamber became much more of a PITA, as the petrification immunity of Divine Crusader no longer wards you from being imprisoned in stone. Before that, it was possible to solo it on the right toon (though chance to fail per RNG).

The drop rate is ridiculously low. With a group of 5 running it 20 times each (and thus receiving the 20th completion bonus) we got ONE quiver to drop. After that we gave up and did three tiefling scoundrel reincarnations.

It's a raid that does require group coordination, something that seems to be rarer and rarer with today's player mix. (Hence "Group coordination" = "pita", sadly. Leroy Jenkins ftl.)

Clearly wrong. I run MoD many times in DC and T4 Heavenly Presence surely prevent petrification... if you run in DC mantle. You run?

I was just going to suggest the same thing. This is what I use on my alt that doesn't have the quiver and it works great. Most of the other Iconic PLs are sort of useless, esp if you are playing a caster. This one is ALWAYS useful no matter what you are playing.

Could get you by until you can finally get one.

At least there's an option of using a Greater Elixir of Discovery today to increase your loot chance. When that raid was current, I went 60 and 80 completions on two characters to get it.

Mark of Death and Ascension Chamber use many different things and abilities (from a technical POV, though they look and do the same). Try the same in AC and then come again.

Another option—by far the easiest—is the sapphire of snowflakes speed, ML8, during the winter ice games. Chug haste pots til then which a lot of classes need anyway for combat, or use an expedited run speed for a poor slob’s meager +25% instead of +30% until level 8.

On HC I have the ML 7 Mire set from Red Fens but that takes two slots (boots/ring OR GoMF trinket ML5 with either if it has Fens)—but I think it is ok for ranged toons and casters due to DR 6/pierce and you get lots of basics too (featherfall, waterbreathing, jump boost, balance+10, fortitude +5 and the +30% run speed.

If you swap out one part with the GoMF you can craft onnit, maybe True Seeing or something.
