The best result i can see for our small european sarlona community is to go to the EU server together. And advocate for it loudly to gather as many other european communities from the other servers.

I hope the various chinese language guilds from sarlona also do so.

If nobody commits and nobody communicates about it, the world might only get a low population.

I don't know where I am going yet. Thank you for spearheading the discussion. It seemed like a lot of players were roadblocked by the idea that server transfers with all of the tech involved would take a longer time period to achieve.

What was the performance like for Cormyr transfers from Sarlona? What is the expectation compared to the Euro server?

I did the mist play on Cormy, liked the story a lot and the whole performance thing was ok - from the EU. So performance is not really an issue. ATM I care for some socializing aspects.

Mercenaries of Vidrir will likely move to Moonsea, I'll make sure drop few agents into Shadowdale to maintain some presence. Will have someone on other servers but dont expect to maintain significant involvement. Skip Cormyr for name/storage management reasons (cleaning after hc), also better ping for what it worth at Moonsea. Been nice to run with High Lords, PiF and other folks, back in days.

I am personally leaning toward Shadowdale, or Moonsea- permitting reasonable ping. Though I'll take being around you wonderful people, over marginally better ping any day of the week!

I do want to say though...

Sarlona has a pretty special community. In no small part, thanks to guilds like the High Lords, Pay it Forward, and lots more- who have made it a positive and welcoming environment. I would very much hope we can maintain that going forward, wherever that may be.

I can completely understand that people will want to follow their friends, guildmates, or head to where they will get the best ping.

Still, I hope to see you on the other side. If not- it's been an absolute pleasure! 🤗

As always: I will be glad to group up with friendly people(old and new); doing whatever quest/raid, on whichever difficulty!

It looks like our primary guild is going to Shadowdale, and our secondary is going to Thrane.

Names may be changing on both primary and secondary, so I'll post up once that info is concrete.

What is the case for Shadowdale versus Thrane for everybody? It seems like expert players are going in both directions, right?
