Tacalis
Professional Lurker
Defiler of the Just
The Codex and the Shroud
Both DoJ and LShroud were completed in rapid succession; DoJ required a reset after an near wipe at the start and Shroud was done on first attempt. Doj nearly required us make a 3rd attempt due to a near wipe during the incredible lag spikes in the last wave. Was it particularly difficult? Not really, but that is to be expected; the raids are older and there is a lot more dps then there was when they were both new raids, not to mention how easily a victory can be snatched away. Any R10 will test your group; and though were some moments of chaos and confusion, we still pulled through in the end.
That being said, the most important thing to us is that we were able to give a final send off to our home of Khyber. These are some of the last raids we will run as a guild before the great migration. Khyber has been the only server I have called home and been here for only a few years, but for some it has been longer than a decade. Khyber has been a wonderful home and has treated us well. Sure, Khyber has had its' fair share of drama over the years, but she has been our home. Thus, there is a fair amount of nostalgia and sentimentality over leaving our home of Khyber. This was our last hurrah for Khyber.
Special thanks to the following for making this happen: Cfer (thank you for allowing us to get some kills at the end of Shroud), Ray, Shanayney, Elharith, Mimir, Eddy, Indy, James, Jen, Snuffy, and also to Fallka, who joined Crimson Eagles just two days prior!
Thank you everyone! Goodbye Khyber, you will be missed! Can't wait to meet, party, raid, and make (new) drama on our new home of Thrane!
