Racial Life & EPL Farmer

Hey folks,

I got a bunch of racial & Epl lives in front of me. I was wondering if anyone had a well laid out build, including gear for 1-30 as well as end game (32). In a perfect world I'll be combining racials & EPL's, doing some R10's at cap, as well as guild raids. Hoping for something nice and thorough so I can min max it over a couple of lives.

No specific playstyle perference (Just not healer / fvs / druid), sorc is okay but they tend to get dull over a few lives I think. Anyway, any help would be appreciated! Ability to "zerg" "solo" is a must :) Thank youuuu!

Honestly just play what you enjoy and the lives & loot will come eventually. Sometimes builds don't work for peoples play style or enjoyment & gear can be a little subjective.

That said, I'd maybe also level and alt healer and/or tank (or w/e you want) to do raids & help farm gear while your main is running the TR treadmill.

2x eTR's per life is pretty reasonable. Save your sagas & the last few slayer kills for the 2nd go up.

Yeah, I completely get that. Was thinking of trying to put together a build just so I know what I want each level (5, 10, 15, 21, 32). Just want something fun that can zerg through 1-30 like a sorc...but ... not as boring as a sorc hehe.
I appreciate the advice on the ETR's will do that :)

FWIW many years ago I made a bunch of CC leveling sets all using the same slots (con on neck, dex on gloves, int/cha on cloak, wis on googles, str on belt), at lvs 4/7/10/13/20/24 to mainly fit in with CC stat upgrades & fit augs.

Also true seeing googles of persuasion w/master's gift & feather cloak w/master's gift, so cloak for wisdom lives, googles for the rest.

I just add in 4pc fey (head/gloves/bracers/belt on casters etc) & bottle of shadows & main/offhand weapons & I use those to cap. Just Fey & smoke I think is a very good twink gear starting point.

I think bard caster is pretty fun to level, good movement speed & group utility too. If you like casters.

This was recently posted by a vet character designer:

Requires Inquisitive (which you can easily earn for Free if you have the Masterminds of Sharn expansion.)

I am far from being a vet on designing character but thanks C-Dog :)

@OP - Take a look if you would, it uses Inquisitive and Harper Agent so not FTP friendly but they can be unlocked depending on your needs.

I really like nuker Alchemist for leveling. Inflict AoE at low levels (and a holy quarterstaff of undead bane for low level quests with undead). Pretty quickly you’ll get nice AoE elemental spells and you have good self healing and self buffing as well as good AoE damage dealing. Add in Evasion and Insightful Reflexes for free and you have a really nice package. The only schools Alchemist has until Epic spells is Conj and Trans. Add Evocation for epic spells when you hit 20. Standard nuker feat layout and max Int, good con, zero concern about any other stat.

As someone who banged out all those racial lives. I can say personally, a Warlock is the best route. There is no race that would cripple them in anyway. Acid Lock.

doing a 1 Racial life to 2 EPL is fine. I actually did 4 EPL this left life on my main as a FVS. There are so many quests to do. You have plenty of XP from Sagas, Heroic and Epic. First time Eveningstar challenges.., slayers..
You can prep your slayers. Just take them to like 7300 dont cap at 7500 .. leave the zone.. do other stuff , ETR, then when you come back do those last few kills in slayer zones to get the 7500 kill big EXP. Saga turn ins.
Just so much EXP you can bank for when you ETR.

If I was just doing Epic past lives, I would probably do FVS instead because you have so many AOE, leap of faith, blasts that do aoe damage and heal you at the same time.

The issue comes to when you say you want something R10, now that is something based on a class you feel good at playing in R10. I would say FVS..
Drawback to FVS is the low heroic levels.. they are slow until they get to level 10 and get pillar of fire, plus their aoe Holy Smite.. those two spells will help level stuff around you and it just gets faster as you level up.

I do have a FVS build I put together I play. its a support build, but I can do R4 easly.. r6 with caution, and die sometimes.. It was good for doing epic past lives.
As for gear for leveling through epic. Putting together level 20 epic gear that is upgraded from salt marsh level 3 gear epic upgrade, and all the other epic crafting upgrade gear, you can put together some nice gear pieces.

Everyone already said, can't miss with a Warlock, leveling is fine and go pretty smoothly even soloing. But... R10 can be a challenge if not well equipped and in a balanced party.

I'm also on the Racial / Epic Lifes TRwheel. Running a Fire/Light ChainBlaster (would try another element, but all my gear is reused from a planned FvS and FireSorc Alt). Leveling solo is a breeze, going:

- 42 TS for Blaster damage and self buffs like Deathward, Great Heroism and +30% Spell crit damge.
- 26 ES for Medium Armor without spell failure, Defenses, hireling buffer and Auras (Fear and Menace).
- 12 SE for Consume, Feeding Frenzy for more speed and Taint the Aura to up single target damage.
- 36 DI for Dragon Breath, Ruin and Greater Ruin and some nice defenses with Scales of the Dragon.
- 25 EA for passive Self heal (helps a lot in lower Reapers), Leap and boost to Light Spell power.
- 4 US for more Fortification (at last I'm soloing).

Doing 1 Racial + 2 Epics per cicle to not burnout too fast.
