Raidfest 2026 - hosted by Axel

DDO YouTuber, Streamer and Podcaster
It's time for another Raidfest! This is the 3rd year in a row I've hosted this event.

Ever wanted to run every raid in DDO? Now is your chance. This is an event where we'll be running every raid in DDO over a 2 day period and everyone is welcome to join regardless of raiding experience. If you know nothing about raiding that's fine, and if you're a grizzled raiding vet that is also fine.

There will be as many raid groups running simultaneously as can be filled. Schedule is listed below. For raids with 2 identical or nearly identical versions, we will only be running the highest level version.

When? April 18th and 19th, 2026

What server? Shadowdale

How do I sign up? (You have to sign up beforehand on Discord to be guaranteed a spot)

1) Join my discord, there is a join link in my linktree here: https://linktr.ee/axelalexk

2) Go to the #2026raidfest-signups channel in my discord.

3) Click "Accept" on each block you wish to sign up for. So for example click all 3 of them, if you want to be there for the whole event.

In the week prior to the event I will assign groups, this will be posted in the #raidfest-info channel on my discord.

The event is broken up into 3 blocks. You can participate in as many or as few as you want. You don't have to stay the whole time for the block(s) you sign up for but you do have to be there at the start of the block in order to guarantee your spot. We’ll pug out spots as we go if needed. Difficulty is up to each raid leader assuming more than 1 group, but with so many raids to run I won't be pushing the difficulty at all. So in general expect mostly Hard or Normal for newer raids, R1 for old raids.

Flagging

Please be flagged for every raid you’re planning to join before we start. I'm announcing this 2 months in advance to give everyone who wants to participate time to roll up an iconic on Shadowdale, level and/or flag for everything. Here’s a link to a ddowiki page explaining how to flag for each raid: https://ddowiki.com/page/raids

I laid out the schedule so none of the Day 2 raids have any flagging requirements, all flagging raids are Day 1. So if you don't flag you can still participate in Day 2 if you want.

Some other flagging things to not forget:

- Do the required runs through Feywild (talk to 1st chain giver to complete this) and Cogs wildernesses beforehand so you can get to the raid entrances for those raids without the group needing to wait for you to do it on raid day.

- Complete the quest Body Snatchers so you can get to the Relentless raid entrance.

- Please flag for the 2 Thunderholme raids beforehand. The game won’t allow level 33 characters and below to flag with 34’s due to the 4 levels over issue with the max 29 slayer zone so it’s easier if everyone just has it done beforehand.

- Be careful with the flagging for Mark of Death and Fall of Truth, be sure you don't talk to the wrong quest givers (heroic instead of epic) which breaks the flagging.

- Make sure for the 2 raids which require flagging items (Twilight Forge/Titan sigil, Heroic Abbott sigil frame), that you have the flagging item in your character's inventory before we start.

I highly recommend everyone actually step into each raid atleast 3 days before the event. This way you can confirm you are flagged and you will clear any raid timers if you forgot to turn something in.

FAQ

Do I need to know the raids?
Nope! Everyone is welcome, whether you are a very experienced raiding vet or have never stepped in a raid before. If you're new we'll teach you as we go.

What level do I need to be? I ask you be at least level 28 for the Legendary raids, but having a level capped character is preferred. For any non-Legendary level raid it's ok to bring a character of any level that is able to enter the raid - though be aware some raids have minimum level lockouts.

Does build matter? No. Any build is welcome. First life characters are welcome. Anyone can join.

What difficulties will we be running? It's up to each raid leader and how strong each group is, but my aim is to be running commonly run difficulties, which means mostly Hard for the newer raids. Some R1s for older easier raids such as Mark of Death, Deathwyrm. I'll be running whatever the group can handle comfortably and won't be pushing the difficulty too hard.

Do I need to have discord? Yes, but you do not have to talk in discord if you don't want to. I only ask you be able to be in the discord voice channel during the event in order to hear the raid leader. This is because the event will be run through discord, not in game chat. If you have some kind of hearing disability or language barrier that prevents you from hearing the raid leader in discord let me know and I'll work with you.

Where do I meet on the event day? In the main general voicechat channel in my discord. From there, each raid group will split off to its own separate voice channel in the discord. And in game, for Block 1, we will all meet in the middle of the Marketplace next to the Subteranne so that we can greater teleport anyone who needs it to the Titan raid entrance to start. For Blocks 2 and 3 we'll meet by the starting raid entrances.

Can I help lead or tank? We will need atleast 1 main tank character for each group and I need some volunteers to lead subsequent groups. If you'd be willing to lead a group or tank for a group, let me know on Discord.

How many raids groups/spots are there? As many as we can fill and have a leader and tank for. We had multiple groups running simultaneously last year.

Do I need to flag for all raids I'm participating in before raid day?

Yes. And I'm happy to help by organizing flagging runs in the discord, so if you need help flagging for any raid post in my discord and ask, we'll help you. If you need help leveling, ask, we should have people available to help with that as well.

Can I watch the event?

Yes, I will be streaming it at www.twitch.tv/AxelAlexK

How do I contact you in game?

On event day I will be logged in and playing on one of these characters - Axel, Akkius and Pencilhead. You can also talk to me in my Twitch chat on event day.

Have any other questions? Post them here in this thread or on my discord in the text channel #raidfest-chat
