Random Crashes

Since the August 23rd update, I have been getting random client crashes to the desktop. I have not changed anything on my PC. No updates to my OS, or changes to DDO settings / options / etc.

Since the August 23rd update, I have been getting random client crashes to the desktop. I have not changed anything on my PC. No updates to my OS, or changes to DDO settings / options / etc.

Is it in certain quests/instances? They have re-broken the raptor sound bug - people (including myself) will crash in areas like Isle of Dread quests/slayers, Smash and Burn, A Sharn Welcome, Red Rain, etc etc. wherever a raptor is.

This came up when I Googled the crash in Red Rain. I was having such a good time too.

Thank you for the guide. I saw another related post and your reply to that as well. There is a new binary release (1.23.1) in case you want to update the post.
