Ranged pally?! What is this? :)

I saw someone in the lam threads mention a Ranged Pally. I asked what exactly one was, but got no response.

How does this work? How many levels of what bits? 14 pally 4 ranger 2 rogue (ranged feats + evasion)? What would make it tick, in heroics and epics?

I have a pure paladin ranged toon and a ranger/pally ranged (12 Paladin/6 Ranger/2 Monk).
With the AoE addition to ranged, I suspect I'll try an archer paladin that has 4 AoE ranged attacks in heroics - Inferno shot (AA Tier 2), scattershot (HW Tier 4), exalted shot (KotC Tier3) and avenging shot (KotC Tier 5).
