Rare Chainmail Models Exist Too

I’ve been playing DDO for 20 years, and I never knew Chainmail had a rare model like this.
It’s a recolor of Silken Mail, but it’s one of those armors that looks different depending on whether a male or female character wears it.

There are several different upper-body variations for Chainmail models, so now I’m wondering if there might be other rare versions out there too. Honestly, that just makes cosmetic farming even more exciting.

Lately, I’ve been having more fun hunting for cosmetics I’ve never seen before than actually running the newest quests.
Well, I guess that’s just another way to enjoy DDO.


During the recent 20th Anniversary event, a recolor of the Full Plate of the Ringleader was added, but I had no idea this armor type could also appear as random loot.

So far I’ve found four colors: yellow, blue, red, and a newly discovered brown.
Now I just need one more color so I can become a full sentai hero team.

There is also a Planeforged variation of this Leather Armor in Blue that I have been searching for with all the parts (So far I've only found it with shoulder piece/missing waist) :

All things aside. I appreciate seeing all the new cosmetics. Per chance could you identify what specifically causes that design, if there's a specific type like Heavy Armor with Steel durability?

Not that I'm aware of... mine was simply a Celestial Chainmail that I equipped before selling.
