I think the description "low effort" used by another poster best sums up my feelings about the new quest. It feels like it took about ten minutes to make and there is nothing interesting about it at all.
It wouldn't be any better if the boss had three, four, five or any other larger number of heads. Plus now that we have a new monster model I'm sure is going to be massively overused in all sorts of nonsensical settings and level ranges for goodness knows how long rather than be only in the parts of the game you'd expect to find it.
Moving towards boring little quests that we pay for individually and in advance for loot that won't drop is a bad direction for the game. If the content is ordinary at best and we can't get the loot we want from it, why should we even bother at all? With these quests or any future content for that matter? And if you are trying to sell us on a new purchasing model for content, shouldn't that content have been good to sell us on the new model?
I think the messages you are giving your players through these decisions is all wrong. Content needs to be interesting and enjoyable enough that we don't have reasons to skip getting it. Loot needs to be attainable so we don't give up. All you are doing now is stacking up reasons for people not to play the game. I know that you see us as addicts but that doesn't mean we can't reach a breaking point with this exploitative nonsense.
Please stop taking your customers for granted by asking for money for stuff like this, and stop trying to rob us by making some loot rare and not even telling us which of it is.
