Ravager or Frenzied Berserker? 3rd life dilemma

I'm currently on my second life, a dragonborn ES warlock. First life was a half-orc frenzied berserker, took him to 30 before TRing. I'm getting close to 20 again, and planning to TR back to my favorite half-orc barbarian.
My dilemma is, what would be better, ravager or what I had in my first life? My reading of the enhancement trees gives me the impression that ravager is more tanky, but has some very interesting damage dealing abilities. I'm familiar with frenzied berserker. My question is, what really are the main differences, and which, overall, is a better choice?

fb

rav is less dps more reliable heals os is the tank tree
Just saw the OS tree, and I see that. Ravager definitely has more DPS, but less then FB. However, I wonder if the half-orc tree would make up the for what I'd miss out of the FB tree.
I'm very familiar with the half-orc frenzied barbarian. My first life build did stupid amounts of damage by 30, I think I TR'd him out of boredom.

a falchion with ic and fb becomes i believe 15-20 x5. a great ax become 17-20 x4

falch wins
Unless using weapons with special threat or multiplier, with IC and FB, I think Falchion is 15-20 ×4 and G Ax is 19-20 ×5, Falchion still wins, but G ax will do huge crit numbers and is effectively 19-20 ×7 at cap.

Edit : and add another +1 to crit multiplier with core 5 of FB, easy to get 100% uptime on that one.

When I TR'd my first life at 30, I was using Legendary Xuum, it was hitting for 5 digits fairly often.

the trick is to swap out between greataxe and falchion. Adren + halforc rage are both auto crits that's when you swap into greataxe for x7 greatness... then swap back to falchion for your other hits.

If you want to max out your DPS this is how you do it.

side note: this actually takes some skill and practice to do smoothly. if done correctly, due to a combination of animation and a bit of lag/latency that is ever present in ddo, it would look like to another player your falchion "turned into" a greataxe mid-swing.

You would build both the same really regarding stats, feats and skills.

Max STR some CON a bit less CHA (do whatever after maxing str really)
Max intimidate
Two handed Feats, Power Attack, IC, etc.

Enhancements are the only thing that change and you can reset them.

I would level Ravager as you are interested in it, then just switch enhancements if you don't like it.

I usually just shove everything into strength and constitution. Hadn't considered charisma, but I do have a +8 tome on it for my current warlock path, so I think I'll leave it, and put the rest into Dexterity. Usually for feats I do pretty much what you suggested, PA, THF feats, toughness.
