Now that you mention it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a healer’s kit used in game.

I actually used a few.... but that was back right after original launch...

But no, haven't seen anyone else use them in at least 15 years heh.

Some of my first characters made sure to take heal so they could stabilize unconscious characters if the healer was out of SP.

Anyone else remember running out of SP and praying the next shrine was right around the corner?

I had this only once - during a guild run, and everyone else except me and a fellow were fast ahead ...
Since I decided for myself to take the "diehard" feat on every single too, I never had this for myself ...

Long time since healer's kits had any relevance. To be useful now they'd probably be better as something you could use by default as a targeted healing effect that could be "improved" via the skill and perhaps a feat. Since as they currently stand a cure light clickable is faster and does the exact same job better. And is completely sub-par when compared to just whipping a curative wand around multiple times.

Yes, I have roll a high roll like 99 and gotten a *single* Sun flask. You're better off going for that named unlimited Sun flask during the midwinter festival.

LOL I feel for you... it could at least have been a couple sun flasks! ?
But I find it unfair to categorize these as useless : with sun flasks I've found that you can : take out skeleton archers or undead mages from a safe distance (just make sure you have a full stack), clean out the green slime in WPM, burst down doors you can't bash (or Knock/Fireball for lack of UMD), set fire to tents in the finale of Attack on Stormreach, and other things I'm forgetting right now, plus yet other uses I still haven't figured out.
