Hmm, maybe it depends a little on your build. Scarlet Scale Cloak is a solid choice, looks especially appropriate for a paladin, fighter, but for say a caster or specialist perhaps Gossamer Weave, if you are open to raid items Countenance looks good with Red Dragonscale for a cleric/paladin/fvs.
There really aren't many red shields. There are the Demonic ones like Demonic Slab, there's the Stormreach Marketplace Shield that will require a store purchase, and then there's the small shield the Defiled Azure Targe which at least looks classy.
If you have an Agony Knife in the Dark, its very red. Macabre/Night Mother weapons have dark red accents. If the Dragon theme has as much importance as the color coordination perhaps something like a Thunderforged Bastard sword.
