Removal of the reincarnation cache if you perma buy coin lords and Kundarak inventory and bank space

The title says it all already, even though it seems strange to me. Some players enjoy the reincarnation cache, but why not find a win-win compromise for SSG and players who don't like the reincarnation cache?

Let's propose a solution: For a payment of maybe 5000 DDO points, all your characters will permanently unlock the Coin Lords and Kundarak inventory and bank space. Additionally, no items will be moved to your reincarnation cache anymore, and there will be no need to empty it before you TR.

I would be 100% behind this change. Though I'd prefer if unlocking these slots were permanent just through the normal method personally. I'd be content with doing it through DDO points as well. It would also remove the need for a reincarnation stash which is amazing in itself.

BtC stuff fills my bank + most of my character inventory. If we had no TR cache then I wouldn't have room for gear I use on any given life (lots of btc stuff for alternative builds in the cache). So OPs idea for perma-space would be nice, but it wouldn't change that I need the cache or I would have no personal inventory space (well almost none) left.

It would be like having 1.5 inventory slot and 0 bank slots free at level 1 with zero way to free that space up without destroying gear.

Gotcha. You are talking about free space after you reincarnate, not having more things than inventory + bank can hold.

Even with perma-favor inventory/bank space, the loss of the TR cache would be very bad without giving me all the personal inventory space as additional bank space.

I'm a fan of one game's method, that has a single button that moves everything from your INV into the bank if you have room.
Makes emptying yourself so simple... like Ex-Lax for gear. DDO has long suffered from (and brutally exploited), it's bank system.

There are nowhere near the number of available bank/Inventory/Shared Bank slots worth of items that you will ever use again. Pack Rats will always complain about inventory space.

If you haven't used it in the last several YEARS (IRL); get rid of it.

Reincarnation Caches should definitely be phased out in exchange for this. For all of the 'packrats' out there (myself included) they should just keep adding additional shared bank space storage. I wouldn't mind having like 800+ slots of that if it were possible. Removing the reincarnation cache is more about QoL making reincarnation easier IMO.

I'll pay SSG not to mess with the TR cache. After a decade they finally got TRing stable enough that I don't lose items, XP, etc. I don't trust them to make any changes to the TR cache that wouldn't result in a negative play experience.

No longer needing a TR cache would remove the need for messing around with the inventory and causing possible loss of items..

As someone who has lost items multiple times, lost tomes, lost all epic destiny XP (when that was a thing) and had my character "in limbo" simply due to following the TR process, I want SSG to never touch the TR cache code again. The juice is not worth the squeeze.

I'd definitely pay to have the favor unlocked inventory upgrades for all our characters, but I don't see why they should remove the reincarnation cache at the same time.
