So the one completely blocks the entrance to VON2, "hiding" this quest, doesn't cause any complaints ? 😅
It doesn't completely block it, at all. Doesn't obstruct me at all - it is merely unnecessary as I'd have preferred the construction site / ruins around VoN 3 to be removed rather than any of this new stuff be added - but no. It is clutter, but not obstructive. But it's fine for us to disagree on this.

I just finished VON 2 yesterday, and at first I thought they'd moved the quest. It took me a few seconds to come to my senses, run around that gazebo thingy, and spot the quest giver. 😁

Don't care about the "blocking" (doesn't feel blocked at all to me), but the pools look ridiculous. They're artistic non-sequitors -- they feel like someone had an art asset from a completely different game and just dropped them at random into Kundarak without any thought for why House-K would put them there.

SSG obviously didn't use their regular art team for this one. The environment team is usually the one that does things right in DDO.

It's standard operating procedure. Establish a number of key points (like quests in Mythdrannor). Then have ChatGPT or some other agent put as much frilly non-essential BS in the path between those key points.

Developing PITA obstacles is apparently immersion.

In general I appreciate the beautification of areas and I like the ornaments and water in house K. But yes, the ones right in the middle of the walkways seem out of place and odd. It doesn't much matter to me for the auto-run, but I do find the placement less than ideal.

I still think it is good enrichment for people, so they can actually learn to maneuver their toons without the danger of mobs attacking!

Personally i'd like to see more streaming water at various places, it is a symbol of prosperity and Stormreach has been thriving for two decades now.
More fontanelle, more nasoni, more waterfalls, more waterheads.

Yes 200 m waterfalls... that's 656,168 feet in case we needed a silly conversion... And that would probably be the amount of lag after :D
