Repeater volume

Can it be turned down please? In general I don't hear throwers, bow, inquis, or other xbows, but I always hear the repeaters over other combat or ambient sound. I think less volume would be great. A less jarring sound and lower volume would be even better. Thanks!

A slider would be nice to be able to manually configure the level of sound for it along with rune arms rather than just disabling it.

But consider that there are a fair number of players who use headphones for "chat" and better situational awareness.

Note: Many mobs can be heard before they can be seen. So headphones can be very helpful when reation time matters.

Anyways... Repeater volleys and cosmetic pets have for (last 10 years) made playing in groups a very painful and tedious experience for many. Asking people to run "quiet" really isn't a valid option, as either they're childishly entitled, or its not possible due their build choices. Granted, one "loud" person in the group / raid can be avoided by keeping some distance from them... but its not an absolute fix. All that being said, when most of the group is running "loud", I simply look for an excuse to leave. Thus saving myself from the migraine later on.

So yeah... I'd be all in favor of UI setting to mute combat, cosmetics and pet sounds from other players.

Personally i love the tac-tac-tac. The predictable reassurance of the methodical slaughter of my enemies.

But i can understand other people might get a bit annoyed 😉

I like the ‚beefy‘ sound of repeaters and great crossbows; therefore, I think a good solution would be a slider for the volume.

I personally play with sound off, but support.
In an ideal world we get a config file that lets us adjust any sound we want individually.

at this point they should let us run the game uncompressed so we can fix our sound files ourselves. make the dryads sound like the knights that say Ni

Add it to the list. We've been waiting how long for end sequence w/ Spinner turn-in.
